Funny... speaking of Darwin, my grandfather's first and middle names are "Darwin Charles." I like getting together with the families and whatnot, but the political correctness and droves of bargain hunting female-hygine-bags make it nothing more than a stress inducer now.

Or perhaps he's on like an introductory 90 day probabtion or something? I had a guy removed from the office recently as he kept telling me how bad his life was and that he wanted to kill himself. HR up and made him go to the hospital. He had to seek counciling before they let him come back. I hope the guy takes it seriously as he's quite good at what he does and is (usually) a very personable man. I'm of the opinion that it's better to respect people professionally for what they accomplish and to weed out those that bring the collective average down. It's not personal, it's about ensuring a high rate of return from your employee base. So, to end my rant, you did the right thing. -Jeff

The "white crowd" coment might be true, but I've never given it a second thought. The Buffalo 'burbs aren't necessarily the most racially diverse areas of the country. I didnt notice that until I moved down to GA. People were people until I moved to a place where there's more tension. I really doubt the media theory though. -Jeff

Good good. I still think that way. Why doesn't everyone just want to go and watch the game? It doesn't click. I went to games @ that age. Hell, I lived right up the street. The whole "don't want to be like that" is very true!!

27. Nothing short of 16 games. I like the guy. I bought his jersey. He's got the potential to be quite good and I like his attitude, too.

Lots of debate, heated at times, but there was always optimism. Some of the Mularkey games produced this type of feeling I think. Like I said in the chat room, I think we were the blind squrrel this weekend. The team played like crap, On top of that, the only constant this season has been suck, which doesn't produce any feeling of upward swing or hope. For whatever reason, we're sucking. It feels like we're going to continue sucking for quite some time. I think the reaction you're seeing is that of people getting used to it. There were a few bright spots. The turnovers were a good sign. Our 'D' as a whole played a better game. The whole team has to click. Also, a less-than-positive outlook doesn't render someone a "lesser fan" or any such thing. It's much like seeing your favorite band in concert and showing frustration at bad accoustics. -Jeff
