  1. Yeah yeah. Personal. Perhaps "heart-felt" is a good word for it. To each his own I guess and if that's what the Southern crowd wants to do, more power to them. Really not my cup of tea. They really do all of the singing and dancing "Can I get an amen!? Can I get a hallelujah!!?" stuff. Dunked a few adults in a big tub of water. Bashed the homosexual crowd. Right out of a movie. -Jeff

  3. Haha.. I bought one via eBay a couple months ago. There's a used game store up the street that sells old NES cartridges for $2 a pop. I've stocked up on all of the ones I used to play as a kid: Castlevania, Mario 1 - 3, Ninja Gaiden, Final Fantasy.. the list goes on and on =)
  4. There's a big Baptist church around here, in a northern suburb of Atlanta. Probably the largest building in the county. There's room in that thing for thousands. I've been inside of it once - large "concert sized" TV screens, stadium seating. It's nuts. I'm not much of a religious man, but I've always thought it should be more of a personal experience. A small Catholic church. The sermon/mass shouldn't have an opening act. That said, rumor has it the preacher at that Baptist church has a Ferarri *collection*. -Jeff
  5. No. Religion aside, this guy is a hypocrite at best.
  6. Agreed.
  7. All else aside, this is 100% true. Perhaps they win those games by fewer points, but they still win 'em.
  8. I've always wondered the same thing. I try to be somewhat objectionable when watching games for just that reason. If anything, I wonder if I swing to much in the other direction. They really do seem to have things go their way an awful lot. It adds a hint of WWE to the whole mix that I really just don't like. -Jeff
  9. Yeah, I understand it's not censorship. NBC has a right to choose whatever it is they want to show. You honestly think other advertisers would pull ads over it, though?
  10. Hrm. If they're willing to pay for the spot and aren't breaking any regulations... what's the problem?
  11. My wife did the same thing =) I want this game so incredibly bad. The guy that sits next to me at work has Thrashers season tickets. I'll never hear the end of it... c'mon swordsmen!
  12. Been in iTunes rotation for a few months now =) The first one's a good song, not sold on that second one yet.
  13. So how much longer until it's acceptable to call for his head (really, no sarcasm in there)?
  14. So how 'bout them Sabres, eh? Eh?!
  15. A murder, right?
  16. Hitchcock is a douche anyways. Maybe Lindy can take him out to dinner now.
  17. Eight is our franchise record.
  18. Leaving the "rap is not music" argument aside, how the hell does that match the demographic? It's like having Timberlake do the Superbo...oh..wait....

  24. Just a South Park global-warming reference =) I've got an 82 year old grandfather up there that lives by himself. He was using his stove to keep the house warm. The rest of the those that remain in Buff are alright, but I worry a bit about the grandfather. -Jeff
