  1. I'm thinking someone really screwed something up. Amazon says "An error occurred when we tried to process your request" which makes me think processing error. Someone probably pushed a a bad update.
  2. Ha, go Trixie. Thanks!
  3. Once you get the cows growing at the right speed and everything at an equilibrium, it runs itself. Fired a couple burger flippers, change the land around a bit.. but other than that, it gets a but dull.
  4. Because you'd be putting your feelings ahead of your man's. That's not right. He'll tell you what he thinks you need to know.
  5. Do you have to ruin all my fun? Huh?

  7. It blocks on IP address, so you can only go to the site once from the same computer regardless of the browser you use. She is winning, though!
  8. Wow. Read through that and go homesick in a minute. They make it sound like the problems are over and it's safe to go back, though. After reading that, I was tempted to try and talk my wife into it again. Then I remembered I'd like 32k a year at a job that would be 96k here in Atlanta.
  9. I don't share your disgust with those that are a bit heftier, but I don't understand how people can be comfortable with either extreme. Either one is extremely unhealthy.
  10. I love the way (and I'm one to talk after my dog post) it's required to qualify why we do stuff like that. "I saw Destiny's Child...... (my wife's idea, honest, tickets were free, they paid us for them, and we got a free limo... She made me do it.. it was free... really) She does look a lot different, though. She was pretty much average for quite a while. $$ buys you that ass you've wanted.
  11. I full on bursted out laughing at the office over that one. Sure, that seems fair! -Jeff
  12. Yeah, they're great dogs. Friendliest one I've ever owned. My wife had a Bassett when she was young, so she's wanted one ever since. We did some work for a local Bassett rescue for a bit, that was actually kind of fun. The one we have now we actually attempted to foster... not so much, we wound up keeping her.
  13. You get one free insult, if you'd like to use it now, go ahead. Might make you feel better. I feel the need to drink a beer and watch a sport after doing this.
  14. Vote for my dog and get a free insult... sounds like a fair trade. Keep 'em coming! She asked me to bug people, I swear... and when the wife asks...
  15. My wife put my dog up on some vote page... I know this is kind of a dumb request, but vote for Trixie and then feel free to make fun of me, I don't mind. http://www.dailydrool.com/vote.html
  16. Springville or further into the southern tier. Perhaps Ellicottville.
  17. Could have made more money if they'd left it there.
  18. Those are too $$ for Buff. We've a Melting Pot around here that my wife and I go to every now and then. Our bill (two of us) for the dinner and two glasses of wine is always over $110. It's not bad food, but then again, it's freaking fondue. Kind of a novelty really. -Jeff
  19. Bah, I wish I could get over the chip on my shoulder and like the damn Thrashers! I just can't get over that "Hockey in The South" paradox. I love hockey, Atlanta isn't a bad area to live.. add the two together? Yeah, not so much. The Caniac Experience earlier this year solidified that a bit. Bottom line for me is that I think I'm 100% WNY. I still buy the mustard and the BBQ sauce, pull for the teams, and B word about the insane August heat 'round here. -Jeff
  20. I agree with you. I could care less about the Braves, Falcons, Thrashers, Hawks... and so on. I think it's because sports (Sabres and Bills, really) are so big back home that they're actually a part of daily life for a lot of people. Walk into a Tops and count the Bills jackets in November and you'll understand what I'm saying. That said, any time I even think about getting behind another team, it almost feels as though I'm trying to change part of that "WNY Heritage", if that makes sense?? The fan bases are so different around here, too. Lots more corporate sleeze-boxes and complimentary "thanks for your purchase of our software" seats. You see no where near the level of intensity that you'd get at RWS. It's a "Go team!!! Honey, do you want another diet coke and some cotton candy?" crowd verses a "J-E-T-S SUCK SUCK SUCK" crowd. And, lastly, living down here for 10 years now, about the only WNY thing I've got left (besides the old snow shovel in the basement and the food every now and then) is the sports. Brings back that feeling of watching Kelly et al. outside on a 50 degree October day when I lived in Orchard Park. Anything else just feels wrong. -Jeff
  21. On the surface I agree, but I'm not gonna pay too much attention yet. If they suck ass two weeks from now, yeah... I'm still giddy football is back tonight, though. Hockey preseason in a month regardless. -Jeff
  22. There are a few of us in the chat room, too.
  23. Yeah, it's so hard to tell. Marv's preaseasons sucked and weren't a very good indication of the season, but last year's was like a crystal ball. So the plan for tonight is just to be happy football is back and not care too much just yet =)
  24. Sign up for field pass and cancel after a week. That's what I'm doing, I think.
