If you're going to accuse someone of a cover up, at least have proof he covered it up. This is still America, you're still considered innocent until proven guilty. I am not a fan of the chief or the mayor for that matter. I believe they have run this city into the ground. Years of democratic leadership has destroyed this city. So I am not defending him because I like him, I still believe in the court of law. That includes the officers involved in this.

I agree with you BG, i would even go as far as being heavy handed with people who don't agree with his way of thinking. Mods should be neutral, if you want to vent your opinions then you shouldn't be a mod. Just my opinion though.

Well, I tend to let the facts speak for themselves. The president has offered the democratic run cities with help to end the violence. The leaders of the blue states have refused (except for Wisconsin) any federal help, yet they put the police on stand down. If Trump overrides the mayors and governors, then he is a dictator, if he doesn't, he encourages the violence. He's in a no win situation and the left knows this. I wish the right would speak up against this rioting, but they have been pretty quiet about it. I'm extremely disappointed with their failure to denounce the violence.

Which party is encouraging that kind of behavior? Who's funding the violent protesters? Portland, Seattle, NYC, Rochester, Dallas, Houston, Wis., St.L, Charlotte are all democratic run cities. If you really want to have a discussion then you should denounce the party that encourages violence.

Thank you for your response, I agree with most of what you say. My only disagreement would be that Trump doesn't care about putting the country first. The fact that we were in one of the greatest economies this country had ever seen before covid came along. The unemployment rate for minorities were lower than they ever have been. I believe he cares for and loves this country as much if not more than past presidents. I am willing to give him a pass due to the "pandemic", it's impossible to get the economy rolling again when you have liberal governors and mayors doing everything in there power to keep everything closed.

I wish this would get more national attention. I believe this to be aiding and abetting terrorists.
