  1. I dont know. I think as far as "aligned with contracts" yes, its McBeane. Meaning both on similar length deals now. But I think they'd consider making a move if its obvious. Beane is out over his skis, maybe Terry sees it differently. But, as of now, its glaring what Beane has missed on. Very simple question: if Beane wouldve landed a true #1, with either the Kincaid pick (1st rounder) or Keon (2md rounder which was essentially a 1st), would we br having a discussion right now? Not to mention, hes dumped a sizeable total $ cap into the combo of Shakir, Samuel, Palmer and Knox. To me thats enough to warrant an Exec Leader Mtg to discuss Beanes future.
  2. If you think McD is the biggest issue, ehat head coach is doing more with this roster? Maybe we have a better record, but are we a SB team? Issue is the roster construction and waste of resources at key positions. Beane has to go, its that simple. McD has built a poor coordinator group around him. He at least can cover for the defense, but hes made some poor decisions at OC over the years. We need a GM capable of finding outside "talent", coaching and players. Head coach to me is fine its the coordinators, which is a direct reflection on Sean - so if thats enough for him to be let go, so be it. But I think Beane struggles with football talent evaluation, he had some strong cast surrounding him in his earlier years here --- now we see his true colors.
  3. Both are issues. I think lack of WR talent is the bigger issue, but Brady is below avg in pass scheming as well. Both guys (Beane and Brady) should be let go after the season. Unfortunately, we wasted a season on the hopes/dreams of Kincaid, Palmer, Keon, Shakir, and Samuel. Thats a Beane issue --- but Brady has proven he can't do much with low level talent, which is a concern.
  4. I dont think thats true. Its about finding guys who are actually ready to be starters. Max, yes. Elam, no. Keon, no. Kincaid, way too fragile. Beane drafts for long term upside, which is ok, but the issue is that he primarily drafts for "need". He is an open book ---- we need a DE, we go Groot/Boogie. We need a CB - we go Elam/Benford. We need a pass catcher - Kincaid then Keon. Philosophy aside, when you draft for need in rounds 1/2 -- it will eventually present issues and misses. Thats been an organizational issue, but Beane especially. He hit on Josh, again thats about all he has offered in elite players...Cook, yes, but in today's NFL an elite RB is more a luxury than a must
  5. It will take a great GM, but its possible in 1 year. We have enough guys to restructure to create room for 1-2 key signings, and some 1 yr deals again. Mostly, its on hitting with the top 2 picks to contribute immediately.
  6. Maybe. I've heard otherwise. That this Waddle info coming out now is just smoke by Beanes camp. Beane wasnt given permission to trade any meaningful assets. As I said earlier this year, I think Beane is on his way out and they weren't letting him "potentially waste" anything at this point.
  7. I've said this since Week 1. Let Beane go and you give the new GM full control, nobody knows what McD controls exactly with roster decisions. But you give new GM ability to fire staff, and McD 1 year to see if roster changes help. McD is a great defensive coach and leader, no matter what people wamt to say. Player talent is lacking, injury or otherwise. Offense needs to find a playcallwr. outside the organization, who is capable of running a balanced attack. Brady is 90% run game and little creativity/ability to scheme open pass routes.
  8. And thats my point. Beane makes the decision as a GM on which players to pick. McD is a defensive guy, he isnt telling Beane go sign Moore. Conviently, you failed to comment on my most important point: Nobody, myself included, complained about the skills players in 2020-2022. Somehow we have "invested" the same, as my post noted, and you think we are dumpster diving now? Its called poor decision making/player evaluations by Beane and his staff. McD isnt out scouting all season man, cmon be better than that. Beane and his staff are responsible for deciding which guys to focus on. McD says we need to prioritize DL and secondary. Its that simple...not a complex process, thats called coach/gm alignment. Beane missed on 4 key opportunities to improve this offense- easy/done.
  9. Im an optimist too, but problem is talent right now. Teams took way too long to adjust to Brady playcalling/realizing its as simple as take away Cook and Kincaid, let the boundary WRs beat you. Now Dalton has a hammy. Coupled miss some major DL injuries. Im thinking 10-7 and a wild card.
  10. And somehow this is fact, huh? Because you think an NFL head coach wants to provide his franchise QB with dumpster dive WR types? Nothing wrong with wanting more "balance", semblance of a run game. Problem isnt that we went dumpster diving, thats a clueless post....here i what we invested: FA: Palmer (almosy $10m AAV per yr), Samuel ($8m aav per yr), Moore $5m. Then factor in the Knox deal. Draft: 1st round- Kincaid, 2nd round (though our 1st rd Pick essentially)- Keon So we invested our top 2 picks, in two of past 3 drafts and some WR #3 capital in Palmer/Samuel/Shakir. Yeah id say thats putting some solid effort into it, and not dumpster diving. Its called poor drafting- Kincaid is never consistent/healthy, and Keon is a must. Then if thats not enough, our top FA acquisitions in Palmer and Samuel are looking terrible. Compare that to: 2 WR #3 FAs: Brown and Beas 1 1st round pick: Trade for Diggs Beane went 3 for 3, now hes gone maybe 1 for 4 at best. That in summary, is why our offense sucks right now...you cant go 1 of 4 and expect to stay relevant each year
  11. If we know anything about Beane, he makes decisions the next offseason to immediately address key issues. So that points to going after some WR talent. Problem is, he is a reactionary/draft for need and poor talent evaluator. Get rid of the 3 Bs sometime soon - Beane, Babich, Brady. And retool. Here comes a wild card birth, possibly. But we are a severely talent deficient team, and made decisions to overpay some key players and our Cap Space is in turn horrible in 26 too. So what do we do from here? I dont see much hope for 2025 right now. When you lose in Miami and our offense looks this putrid, we could very likely lose a few in a row.
  12. Lol. So now we are somehow back to Peterman? You are grasping for straws now.
  13. McD didnt make those offensive player decisions tho.... Im sure he is heavily invested in what positions to prioritize, and on defense, he certainly chimes in on guys. Offense though? You think he hand picked: Palmer, Samuel, Keon, and Moore? Yep, sure Jian. In our 3 losses, yiu know what's in common? Offense underperforms, especially in 1st half. Yeah facts point to Beane making poor personell decisions.
  14. Somehow HCs take on the blame for lack of talent building? I'd say go look at the team we lost to today--- they fired their GM. I think we are on the same path after the season. Two coaches deserve to go and thats Babich and Brady. McD made poor decisions but thats also on others involved.
  15. Lol. From 10k feet. How about from a press man, 1 foot away, who scares you on this offense? From a defensive coordinator perspective. Teams took a while to adjust to Bradys offense. Now they have it locked in. Stop the run and press our WRs, who are too slow to get downfield. We have a major talent gap at WR. That makes us 1 dimensional. Then all the injuries to defense. Since your brought it up....Falcons, Phins, and Pats what did they have in common? They beat us because our offense underperformed...why? Because they sold out on stopping Cook, and middle field passing game. They dared the boundary WRs 1-1 so many times...we dont have the talent...period.
  16. 100%. We have an MVP QB, generational talent. Yet, we decide our offensive philosophy should be built around making Josh a game manager. Wr/TE room: Palmer, Keon, Shakir, Kincaid, Samuel, Moore, Knox, Shavers, Hawes Yeah thats bottom level talent as a "group". Some nice complimentary pieces, but no where near good enough. Somehow defenses took this long to adjust to Bradys offense philosophy. Which is also blame on Beane for lack of overall talent.
  17. You know ignoring the obvious is a problem, and thats what youre doing. You really think WR room is good enough? This is a horrible group. Point is, we lose when teams shut down our run game --- and thats with, wait for it.......an MVP and best QB of our teams history. Yeah let's point the finger to McD for that....clueless post by yourself, its blinded with an agenda.
  18. Lol loser post. You think McD literally tells Beane and his staff who to draft? Beane and his scouts are horrendous. Defense gave up 23. Offense with 6...yeah I put that on lack of O talent, specifically WRs...that been obvious. You clearly have an agenda against MCd. Outsiders and smart football folks, and not your wife with her college sports background, will tell you Sean is a very good coach.
  19. McD in a tough spot. Brady sucks, and Babich is no where near a D coordinator role. Bad decision hiring within for those 2.
  20. More like fire Brady and Beane, for lack of building a WR room. Not gonna win many games scoring lousy 6 points.
  21. Agree. Josh responsible for 2 critical turnovers. And Cook a 3rd. Offensive stars not playing like it today
  22. 100%, this is the difference with Brady vs Daboll. And we dont have the WRs right now to let Josh play his way. But thats because Beane struck out on too many decisions.
  23. @Big Turk, care to change your stance on this? You picked 1 game to focus on and somehow against a beaten down Miami defense, giving up 27 ppg, we get nothing. This WR group sucks. We win by gettinf positive yards on 1st down and staying ahead of sticks with a solid run game/OL. Not about misusing a lack of talent. We have 3 cast offs in Palmer, Samuel, Moore, and what looks like a bust in Keon. And add in a P/S type guy in Shavers.
  24. Yeah McD said draft Keon and go sign Palmer/Moore. Beane has zero talent evaluation ability. Its obvious he misses on a lot of FA signings and high draft picks. Beane has to be fired this offseason. I wouldn't mind seeing 2 new coordinators either.
