Just goes to show how difficult it really is for a team to find the right players.

Clowney is big time legit. His play cannot always be measured in numbers. He generates a lot of pressure, he is all over the run game, and in constant pursuit. Plug him in to this defense and now we are getting somewhere!

Murphy? I suppose he is a good player when healthy, but in more of a secondary role. When Beane signed him, the Bills were trying to fill in holes on the roster. With the emergence of some of the young defensive stars, the Bills are shifting gears to become a more disruptive and dynamic unit...Murphy does not fit, Clowney does.

Clowney is still only 26, and he has overcome the injuries. The Bills need to capitalize on opportunities when the window is open. Clowney is a proven player and he blends well with the Bills young nucleus.

I dont know if anyone wants Jones or Murphy...just saying!

If the Texans bite, they must have one player that really interests them. Just trying to figure out who it is. Lawson and Yeldon? They would make sense...fills two voids.

Any idea of possible parameters? What players and/or draft picks would realistically be involved?

If it happened, the timing is about right. Preseason is nearly over, and reports say Clowney has kept in shape. Get him in here and up to speed.

Even without Brady, the Patriot OL continues to provide excellent run/pass blocking. They remain fortified like a Roman Legion.

I like the format. It keeps things organized and allows us to zero in on a particular topic that may interest us. All bases are covered!

The Bills have have an up and coming defense and Clowney's addition would be dynamic. If anything, his play would escalate and he would elevate the play of everyone around him. There would be no where for him to hide. His presence increases our chances of defeating the Patriots...

I believe that the Bills are going to be patient with Joseph. He posseses a good skill set and needs some refinement. McDermott hinted that despite the big hits and flashes that Joseph can provide, there is work to be done in his development.

I know, and when I think of this defense and the DE unit, I have to place an asterisk next to it.

Who the heck would want Zay Jones? Any expansion teams on the horizon? Jones is already playing with fire in Buffalo. Do the Texans want another head ache.

I like JJ Watt's take on Andrew Luck's retirement and the fact that someone would have to be to there to understand. Courage, self reflection and guts!The man has had enough!

This capability of this DE unit is exaggerated, and we can be certain that it will be addressed by Beane. We already know that he has explored other avenues and when the time is right he will. The first priority was to help Josh Allen with a better OL and some serviceable weapons. There is only so much talent available so the DE position is probably next. Until then, we will have to live in denial.

Starbucks makes a blend that I absolutely love. Their "Gold Coast" blend. It is a dark blend with a nutty taste. If Tim Hortons wasnt so watery it might taste like Gold Coast.

Your right. Schwartz was already labled as a defensive guru through out the NFL, even so, promoting Schwartz seemed like the logical next step, but I think for the Bills it was also timing. The Pegulas bought in to the Ryan myth and it just took off. Do you remember the Bills players carrying Schwartz off the field after the Detroit game? How often do we see that! Some redemption anyway.

Williams was superb and his play honored his contract. Rex Ryan? The guy was an aberration and a traveling road show. In 2014, you could feel a sense of momentum that Schwartz was building...then boooom!

If Jones wasn't a 2nd round pick we wouldnt be having this conversation. The conclusion of preseason will be interesting.
