  1. Beane round 1 of every draft since Josh…
  2. Benford and Elam having a year under their belts coupled with Tre, Hyde, and Poyer all back to 100 percent, then mixing in Taron and Rapp is going to allow McDermott to call a much more aggressive defense. The defense will take a step forward, and they crush the Vegas win total over 10.5.
  3. Can’t imagine KC throwing a spending a bunch of money on Hopkins, why wouldn’t they have simply extended Hill if they were going to pay top $ for a WR? If he wants guaranteed money and/or an extension, I think he likely ends up somewhere with a young developing QB who needs a consistent target. He’s at the stage of his career where he can take a little less/re-work his contract in a team friendly way to try and be on a winner, or try to find a team that is willing to give him one last big pay day (since AZ gave him the right to seek a trade, they aren’t forcing it, atleast based on the way it was worded in reports)… Being real, if I’m Hopkins, I find the team willing to pay me and maybe even reup getting one last major pay day, bc after what some of the injuries we’ve witnessed and then what happened with Damar, I’ll never be mad at a guy for trying to get every cent they can playing this game.
  4. Hopefully Beane has dug his heels in and doesn’t overpay to overpay. Building a WR room with guys over 30 being paid $20 mil each per isn’t the recipe for sustained success. Nothing higher than a 3rd and 5th, with them eating like 40% of his salary this year. Something in that vicinity for an aging, overpaid WR one mistake away from a season long suspension.
  5. Chris Kelsay… dude just epitomized the Bills of that era. I think I was more shocked when they re-upped Kelsay than when the team signed T.O. or “Super Mario”. Re-signing Kelsay was just waiving the white flag saying to the fans “we’re fine with 7-9, and you should be too”… I believe this was also around the time of the mega free agent splash that captivated the football world known as Derrick Dockery, another strong candidate for this list.
  6. While I think you can make the argument Allen is possibly ahead of Rodgers at this point in his career, Rodgers is one year removed from back to back MVPs and has won four total. I don’t think Cole is trying to stir anything up, one guy has 4 MVPs and a ring, the other has two rings in 3 Super Bowl appearances already with 2 MVP awards. Rodgers probably the best regular season QB ever… Josh is great, best QB in Bills history, but the resume doesn’t have the accolades of the other two and until he starts adding some hardware to his list of accomplishments in this league, he’s always going to be viewed as just behind those other guys, and in terms of league perception, Burrow has passed him… I think that’s crazy, but you hear it in the way “analysts” talk about Mahomes, Burrow, then Allen… which I prefer anyway, 17 plays better with a chip on his shoulder rather than a world of expectations.
  7. Love it, much more valuable to the defense than Edmunds, hopefully Hyde gets to 110% and we get 2-3 more seasons of the best safety tandem in the league.
  8. 44 Targets 27 Catches (61.4%) 3 TDs 541 yards Thats Robert Foster’s rookie numbers, just running those same deep go routes, with rookie Josh Allen who couldn’t hit the broadside of the hospitality tent. We all know Josh’s ball placement was nowhere near what it is now. Which means I think that 41% you put on Josh for “flat out misses” more likely just A-Gabe being a non-elite route runner B-Gabe not getting separation C-Gabe being slow D-All of the above Not saying Josh is perfect, he misses a couple a game, but there is no way he “flat out missed” Gabe Davis almost half of every time he threw his way, that’s ridiculous.
  9. He’s basically Robert Foster, just another guy, except Josh makes him look legit every now and then… Kinda like he did with Foster. There is really nothing that Gabe excels at, which is unfortunate bc I really liked the dude and was hoping he’d be the answer opposite Diggs…
  10. Even though I think Payton should’ve done more than one Super Bowl appearance (and win) with Brees considering he never had to go through Payton, Brady, or even prime Ben to get there, I would love to see a offensive mastermind at the helm while Josh is still in his prime.
  11. I agree, aside from Milano there isn’t a single piece I would be upset if they moved on from… I also can’t say I trust them at this point to draft well on that side of the ball either. How much blown draft capital invested in the DL? At this point Beane’s rep is pretty much being the guy lucky enough to draft Josh Allen, who has carried this sorry roster as far as he could…
  12. Especially when you were supposed to have just prepared for the same exact team less than a month ago…
  13. I can’t say that he’d be a losing coach anywhere when he got to the post season with Tyrod…
  14. Don’t think I could come up with a better comparison honestly… Hell of a coach, will always be well respected, but could never just get to the top of the mountain.
  15. McDermott getting out coached against the elite teams is becoming a common theme unfortunately… It’s great to be relevant, but is relevant good enough for everybody here? When you’ve got a talent like Josh? He’s obviously not going anywhere, but how many times can he fall short before he does?
  16. Hopefully somebody falls for “his defense constantly ranks top 5 in the regular season” nonsense and hires him so Beane can get two 3rd rounders to use on this OL…
  17. Every post season the defense gets lit up like a Christmas Tree, even in this weather… Why is Matt Milano the closest guy to Jamar Chase???
  18. The ####### said going into this game they weren’t going to do anything different… Same soft dog ***** defense
  19. Frazier needs to go… every year in the playoffs this defense gets abused while they retain bc he makes his living in the regular season abusing poverty franchises.
  20. This is the last thing we need… if they lose next round, so be it, but this would be so “Billsy” and i don’t need to hear that bs all the time again.
  21. I think Florio saw McDaniel and got confused with McDanielS, bc if Brady comes back next year I think it’s with his boy in Vegas. Davante, elite TE, Renfrow is his new Welker/Edelman, and the fact that he’s won 6 rings with the guy calling the plays…I just wonder if he’d be willing to step into arguably the toughest division in football.
  22. Bc it’s Mostert… short for he’s one of the most hurt running backs in the league… I’ll show myself out… For real tho, dude seems like he’s always on an injury report.
  23. Makes sense when you look at their three losses and realize just how close they were to being undefeated. Buffalo really went out of their way to beat themselves in those games, with a myriad of opportunities to win each of them.
