  1. Good lord! Before just now I'd never heard of this tune. Now I'll never forget it. Have been watching "Lorena" on Prime video. Puts it in a whole new light! <shudder>
  2. That's the key isn't it? There's been a dearth of reliable receivers who can separate and make the catches that prevent all the 3&Outs.
  3. Kinda torn because I am a TT fan and I liked Fitz right up to the point where he got a huge paycheck and his hands turned into every opponent's best friends. I think I'd have to go: Barclay Taylor Fitz
  4. Not being rabidly fluent about all the different potential draftees I spent about 4 minutes really fired up about Metcalf and thought for sure the Bills would ***** him up if he was available at #9. Then I read more about him and the reality of it sank in. Not saying anything bad about him. Not at all. I grew up in Mississippi and was an Ole Miss fan (in that if someone asked me "Rebels or Bulldogs" I would dutifully answer "Rebels"). But I understand what (& why) McBeane did (what they did). I wish DK all the best in Seattle.
  5. As usual, I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm still not expecting playoffs. If - if - if - if - IF Oliver, Ford, et al perform as expected along with the free agents I'd bet a dollar that 9-7 is definite. (yeah, I'm a high roller ?)
  6. Agree. Excited to see "new (definitely) & improved (hopefully)" O-Line. Equally excited to see Oliver on D. Think this might be a make or break season for #17 at least in the eyes of many fans. I'm not too worried yet but the next few months will fly and it'll be mid-season before we know it.
  7. Could be beneath their dignity? Or maybe the league doesn't want to start out with a lot of drama, not to mention drama queens
  8. Really haven't been paying attention to this. Just happened to be in front of the TV when a game was coming on. I admit I'm a little intrigued. Used to live in Birmingham way back when there was an arena team (Birmingham Fire). Went to a couple of games but I really wasn't a football fan at the time. It took moving to Buffalo to turn me into a fan - my wife gives me constant hell about my radical change of heart. ? I'll definitely watch a few games just to see how it goes. Baseball & hockey (and I imagine every other major sport) have "minor" leagues. I think it's high time football has one, too.
  9. Hats off to you but nothing is less interesting to me than Donald's fetishes. ?
  10. Cheesesteak served in a hollowed out loaf of French bread, pepperoni and sausage pizza bread (with sauce and cheese of course), and shredded roasted chicken and vegetables served in nests of fresh hashbrowns. Oh, and a gallon of vodka from which we will all take shots every time Brady completes a pass in the hopes that we'll eventually forget that we're having to watch yet another Super Bowl in which the Patriots are the odds-on favorite. That was snarky wasn't it? ?
  11. IMHO, Peters has not exactly had a great game. He's been beaten quite a few times
  12. My wife, a lifelong Bills fan and I were just pondering how ironic it would be if the Bills & the Cowpatties became powerhouses in their respective conferences at the same time - again.
  13. Have to say I'm surprised this isn't more of a game. Not unhappy that the Colts are winning but I really expected Houston to do more than they have.
