The hail Mary was terrible but so were the two plays before. They again were defending against a TD and conceding a FG. If they just play dime and rush four none of that happens.

Amare Cooper or bust

Bills had no chance if Raiders were not going to take on the salary. A Jets 3rd is going to be ten picks lower than a Bills second. Better trade for the Raiders. This is why we can't have reasonable conversations and debates on here. There is no NFL conspiracy. The refs have no fix in place. If the NFL wanted the Jets to win, why didn't they? Why did they call holding on the Jets TD run?

I respect your opinion but disagree. They were judgement calls for sure.

The Brown call was lame but you could see it was going to happen. He hits guys after the whistle all the time. He is always flying into the pile late to hit guys. Not just this game. He does this all the time. No idea if he was warned or not but my guess is the officials threw that flag to avoid further confrontations. Nope. First all I'm pretty it was the TE and not an OL. Second he dove at the guys legs to take him out. Clear cut penalty

Lawrence Taylor and I think Carwell Gardner crossed the picket line to play. LT probably needed cocaine money

4-2 after That Strech of Games
Ethan in Cleveland replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall
4-2 will do nicely having played 4 road games and going 2-0 in the division. Would have like that game against Houston. They have several winnable games coming up. Hopefully they get Oliver and Cook back soon. Shakir probably needs a few more weeks to heal up too. -
I thought there were two bad calls. The roughing the passer on AJE was bad. He didn't try to forcefully take him to the ground. The other bad call was on the PI against Benford I think when McD thought the ball was uncatchable. I just thought that was a weak DPI call. The DPI on the ball out of bounds was an ok call. He held up the WR quite a bit and just because it landed out of bound doesn't mean it wasn't a catchable ball on the sideline. The reality is they almost never rule the ball was uncatchable. Brown was being a dick after the whistle the whole game. He didn't just finish the block he purposefully dove on top of the guy. It was tick tack but he was probably warned several times. The holding call on the Jets TD could have easily been a non call. That defender was not going to stop that TD. It was a brutal game to watch but 90% of the penalties were called correctly.
