  1. Have to feel bad for defenders. They have to think so much when attempting to tackle QBs or hit WRs. The more this stuff happens the more the NFL is going to have to let QBs get hit outside the pocket. I'd go so far as to say they should get rid of the QB slide. Once they are out of the pocket they are running backs.
  2. Everyone going enjoy! The stadium is very good with very good food options. I usually got a downtown hotel and walked to the game or took the train from Portland. So I really can't say much about traffic. I've been there several times including NFC Championship game where Sherman knocked away pass in the endzone to beat 49ers. Seattle is still a great city. Space needle is ok to look at but not worth the wait to go up. If you enjoy walking Bainbridge island is a nice enjoyable walk
  3. Glad Beane made the move for Amare last week. Aiyuk and Godwin injuries will create a bidding war for Hopkins. Elam has two post season INTs too. Crazy stuff sometimes
  4. Where are all the Lamar can't pass posts?? I read on here all the time he can't throw the ball....
  5. I'm never one to defend McDermott but I think this one was actually on the players. They were losing both LOS in the first half and winning both LOS in the second half. I doubt that is scheme. If someone who watches film says otherwise it sure would be interesting to know what changed. I just think they played better and harder in the second half.
  6. Jerry Rice has been out for a long time
  7. Best QB in franchise history history! Second best player in franchise history second only to Bruce Smith. That will change the moment he wins a Lombardi!!!
  8. Yeah that seems like a bad line... Probably the uncertainty at QB for Pittsburgh was playing a role in that but who knows what Vegas thinks
  9. They showed it several times on TV. It was pretty obvious the ball was coming out. In other views it looked clear his toe on the third step was OOB.
  10. I don't see any media drooling over the Jets now. Preseason they had some promise based on getting Rodgers back and the defense. They were 7-10 last year with terrible QB play. But the defense has regressed and the concerns about the OLine that most predicted have largely come true. Adams is not going to fix their Oline issues.
  11. Lol..its ok people ignore me all the time...
  12. Oddly I would say Bishop and VanPran probably have the best chance. I can't think of any real dominant safeties in the league anymore. McD obviously has a proven track record developing guys. I haven't followed closely this year to even know if Fitzpatrick is playing at a high level. VanPran might devleop into a great center one day. For the record most of us wanted Creed Humphrey so that would have been a ProBowl player...
  13. Have you been to Seattle before? Pike Place Market is great. Bainbridge island is a nice walk. There is a underground tour that takes you beneath the city that is cool. Ivar's is a good cheap local place for seafood.
  14. Let's see how did we lose to the Jets last year? How did we lose to the Broncos last year? Oh yeah most of those guys were on the team and the special teams blew those two games. Bass is the biggest question mark and has nothing to do with UDFAs. Bishop should be our starting SS and he is on kick coverage unit. Hollins is supposed to be excellent at STs. So please don't say they are not still invested in STs. Upgrading from Martin would be fine from me, but people on here believe holding for FGs is some magical skill.
  15. Good points. I don't recall him giving up a pressure yesterday either. Maybe I missed one but he looked good both in run and pass.
  16. It's not a team game. Here i will prove it to you. Close your eyes and imagine Mitch Trubisky as the Bills QB. Now open your eyes and tell me if the Bills even win one game with Trubisky as QB.
  17. He has two bad feet that will require surgery. If they lose their next two games don't he surprised if they move him to IR so he can have surgery sooner to be ready for 2025.
  18. You are missing the point. He needs to complete the catch. He didn't. Ten posters have already explained it. Just like last week when Rapp dislodged the ball in the endzone. The WR caught the ball had feet down but didn't finish the catch because Rapp knocked it out.
  19. Everything you said is correct. He usually is sure handed. The drops in Cleveland were not all bad passes though. He dropped one that was right in his chest that the Raiders intercepted. My guess is he reverts to his normal sure handed play but it will be something that bears watching.
  20. Isnt that exactly what I said?
  21. Coleman looks like his ceiling is a good #2 WR. That's not a bad thing in modern NFL. Davis looks good but he's old for a rookie RB. Use him up the next three years and move on to the next guy. Carter could be the steal of the draft so far if he keeps playing like he has in the last three games. A shame Bishop got hurt in TC. Probably lost any chance at significant playing time with that injury. He is supposed to be athletic and smart. Wish McD would let him rotate in a few snaps or get some playing time in the dime packages.
  22. Nope. There are posters that aren't total homers and when Allen plays badly they state it. That's not a narrative that's just being honest.
  23. There is no anti-Allen narrative. The media loves our QB. The media loves winners and Mahomes won and Allen hasn't.
