Really in the dumps right now. I can handle the losses but the catastrophic injuries these past two years really have me down. Seriously questioning why I still watch and care. Seeing grown men crying and literally dying on the field knowing their season and maybe their careers are over. All so some broadcast network can charge more for a commercial of something I would never purchase. The 90's teams had injuries but our core guys never missed huge chunks of time. I have no idea if injuries are more frequent now or more catastrophic. I know surgery and recovery is better than ever. Yet it still feels so hopeless. All the emotional investment we as a community invest only for it to be sprained, torn, or broken in seconds. Losing Milano is a gut shot I'm not sure I can get over.

It took Lawrence's best throw as a NFL QB to make that play. He was about to get drilled and Hyde's coverage while not great was not bad either. It was a brilliant throw. If that ball is 6 inches further we are praising McD for a great call.

Some say there is no such thing as a trap game. I'm not one of them. I said they would be 7-1 after the Jets loss and this is my only worry. This should be McD's strength as a coach. I think the point is you can win in this league with a great run game. Elite QBs are rare. Teams that can run the ball effectively are easier to build. It's not like the Colts are going to stop developing their young QB.
