  1. I've been watching a ton of tape and I'm sold on Allen. The kid has it all. I hadn't really dissected every angle until recently. We get caught up in the moment and don't realize he's a rook. I think Beane and company are not the brightest bulbs but a guy like Josh Allen fell into their laps like a Christmas miracle.
  2. He didn't lead us to glory but he was a proud Buffalo Bill. I'm glad we have Josh Allen now because he represents the future and he's a better scrambler than Tyrod Taylor and potentially an even better passer than he could dream.
  3. I support all Bills players and I supported Tyrod Taylor. He lead us to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years. I admire his dedication to his craft and dedication to the Buffalo Bills. He's a good man who played his heart out for the Bills.
  4. Yep. Wait for the crickets when Allen goes into New England and lights up that very soft defense.
  5. When Josh Allen goes into New England and whoops up on Tom Brady, you'll understand what's really going on here. He's got the goods and he's gonna show it.
  6. I hope so. I always wonder whether guys will be willing to come to Buffalo(Sorry, it's not considered the world's greatest destination for FA's). It helps that he chose to play college ball at Oregon State if that makes any sense.
  7. One thing I'd like to see in the playcalling as it pertains to gimmie passes is routes that allow the receiver to continue to run. Seems like we throw a ton of short passes that don't allow for that.
  8. No doubt. I was just saying it would be ideal to see more plays from the pocket. With this OL, he really has no choice but to move around.
  9. Yep. Definitely prefer the "all one color" look whether it's blue or white. The one caveat is that I'd like to see them wear white pants when the wear the red jerseys.
  10. Agreed on the attributes that make him a far better than expected runner but also his ability to immediately accelerate. He went from 0 to 60 in a flash as soon as he decided he was going to run on the TD against Detroit. A QB doesn't put up these kind of rushing numbers without some serious talent. It's not a surprise that he's mobile, but I don't think anyone saw THIS coming. Would love to see him stay in the pocket more, but he's gotta get it any way he can get it at this stage of his career.
  11. He does NOT look like a 4.75 guy when he decides to take off. Looked more like a 4.5 guy on that TD run against Detroit. Definitely the wildcard in this debate is Allen's unexpected video game rushing numbers.
  12. Right. I'm slightly concerned about our decision makers considering they went into the season with Peterman penciled in as starer. Allen looks like he's got a world of talent, but it's hard to trust that these fellas know what they're doing on offense. They've made some great draft picks, so we'll see.
  13. You're completely right that he was an indistinguishable player both in SF and Denver. Just pointing out the Wade connection.
  14. Gotta give Wade props for that one. Not sure who made the call, but I believe he played for him in Denver which means he likely played a key role.
  15. Give it time. It's only been a few days!? I just happened to be watching the Seinfeld where they were talking about the Keith Hernandez spitting incident and they repeated "back and to the left." There must have been a second spitter! Either way, it wasn't a perfect pass but certainly one that should have been caught.
  16. Same as last year. McDermott, for whatever it's worth, tends to do well in extremely tight games. One of the things I like about him.
  17. We dissect this play around here like the freaking JFK assassination. The life of a Bills fan!
  18. Yet he still made 60 tackles and a couple sacks a year as opposed to Lotuleilei. Not hating on Star, but I'm not seeing much impact.
  19. Luckily for the Eagles, Doug Pederson is smart enough to recognize who Carson Wentz and Nick Foles are. One is a flash in the pan backup and the other is a franchise QB who's had a bit of bad luck. I love Allen, but it would be amazing if he can duplicate the success Wentz has had when he's on the field.
  20. I voted for Metzelaars simply because you called him Big Pete.
  21. What do you want him to say? My goals are to be a subpar player, and hopefully we can win 4 games? It's silly criticism IMO. Eliminate the need to draft a pass rusher and add a stud. I'm in. That's the problem. He's ALWAYS limping around. Probably used to PED's for injury purposes and not necessarily to gain a competitive edge per se. Either way, I'm not a fan of guys who always get hurt. It's too much of a pattern to call it bad luck. Murphy should be the odd man out.
  22. Like I stated before, won't that essentially be a good problem as it will mean the offense really took a step forward? If Allen is the real deal, we'll be able to find somebody to work with him. Certainly nothing to worry about IMO.
  23. Even worse when you feel the need to ANNOUNCE you're putting someone on ignore. Such a LAMP thing to do.
  24. Did you see Gronk at the end of that Steelers game? He looked extremely stiff. Looked like a basketball player down to pump faking and ramming into the defender begging for a foul/PI.
