My brother-in-law a Patriots fan is so ticked at them from not trading up to get Allen. He watched the draft and was praying they would craft an empire of winning and not just a dynasty. Saw him for Thanksgiving and he said that Buffalo is going to make a run next year and all he can do is pray that Brady still has something in the tank. What scares him most is that healthy defense and Allen having weapons.

Ever since the dropped ball last year and the dropped ball that he didn’t make a one armed play for against the Jets was feeling the pain. McDermott is evaluating him and assessing he goes down the chart. -

Shaq Lawson also never lived up to his regrettable first round billing a complete drop off. No real production and pushed around even by rookies. Hoping we can wrangle a 5th or 6th round pick for him. -
https://www.gobatesbobcats.com/sports/fball/2017-18/bios/lindgren_jonathan_k6de Jon Lindgren is an interesting developmental player out of a small Ivy League college. Playing for an 0-8 Bates Bobcats team. One of the few bright spots and a NESCAC second team representative. Appears to be a much stronger case for UDFA or a much later pick in the seventh round. Might make his case for special teams edge gunner.

Motivational Posters for the 2018 Buffalo Bills

The offensive line will have a year of maturity to it. Hard telling where they will be next year. Could pass on guys who just needed that year. Juan Castillo has an eye for the offensive line and knows how to motivate his players. My guess is next year will make a difference in what he gets out of them.

Broncos Redraft: Chubb still or Allen/Other QB, etc

@Alphadawg7 my brothers-in-law does not discus Josh Allen with me. He himself is a Patriots fan and thought they would trade into the top of the draft. Getting Allen to spark the offensive lineman and giving Brady someone to teach. When they stayed with the 22nd and took Wynn he was completely shocked. -
http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25528410/ucf-qb-mckenzie-milton-undergoes-4th-leg-surgery-travel-team-fiesta-bowl?platform=amp I am speechless a good field general, makes solid throws, and despite a small height looked like the next Doug Flutie. Didn’t just propelthat program forward he willed it into competitive waters.

https://goblackbears.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=965 Looks like a solid and consistent starter given his lack of size and weight at this point. UMaine doesn’t really showcase what it has under the hood sometimes so scouting locally can be an issue. Live closer to Bates than Orono; a small Ivy League school which is 0-8 so not even going to bother taking a look there. Okay, okay I scoured them they got one bright spot in the secondary. Kid who doesn’t quit or give up. https://www.gobatesbobcats.com/sports/fball/2018-19/releases/20181120ikckga

Nowadays he holds a much more important job. Which is perhaps one of the greatest motivations for the next generation; he’s a teacher. -
Motivational Posters for the 2018 Buffalo Bills

Last one for this and almost had to go to the Way in the Back machine illustrated for this gem. @Hapless Bills Fan Is this to much of beating the dead JP horse? The Fire Marshal is a Buffalo Bills fan; whose name is Bill, Fire Marshal Bill folks! The fire within, are the children okay, though? -
Have to ask what is Juan Castillo doing to groom the younger offensive lineman? This is like Henry Winkler from Waterboy stuff here.

The only way that happens is if Beane suffers a head injury and behaves like AJ Smith and demands that McDermott now to him. Of the name which isn’t tossed around is Dom Campers. He got stuck with the dumb arse McCarthy who terminated Tom Clements. Anyone else think we should be gunning for Capers in a defensive consulting or scouting capacity?
-
AJ when the Chargers were in San Diego pretty much made him say screw the politics and he might entertain returning but, politics ruined that team, and for him ruined any chances of coming back. Marty was good in charge of teams but GM’s always wanted to step over him politically or go over his head. Instead after every franchise had pretty much said they were better off with their general managers and could find a dime a dozen Coach; it turned out old Marty wasn’t a dime a dozen guy. Kind of wonder; anybody know what happened to Jim Hasslet?

Anybody else think Joshua Huffman would make for a feel good story as a rotational defensive back in the seventh round? Was just scouting through the mock draft thread and local players and found out he’s from Buffalo playing for UMaine Black Bears. Not exactly expecting world beaters but figured in the late seventh round he and Manny Patterson would be a good cohesive secondary in rotation together both coming out from a 10-3 UMaine team which is dominating its conference so far.

Josh Allen plays exactly like John Elway. In hindsight without Kubiak evaluating or elevating players to their level best; it’s showing just how much of a great talent which Gary Kubiak is. Denver is building a strong defense but without a line and weapons for Keenum that was doomed from the start. -
Ed Hoculi retired and nobody dares to say that a majority belong in offices; instead of making field calls. I still remember when Bryan Cox jumped offside during a game and an official who had actually played ball; drove him back while throwing a flag on the center who had moved his hand just the slightest inch. Cox was still trying to move, and said if he had not of stopped the old boy would have kicked his arse.
