  1. Judas Priest fix the officiating or the greatest sport in the world will die a slow death. This isn't rocket science Goodall.
  2. It's a legacy of his rookie year where he did a lot of bonehead stuff. Last year he cut those plays way back but had a couple. This year he hasn't had any IMO. We can't confuse trying to make a play or simply making a mistake with it being a "bad Josh" thing. We need to move beyond this. Allen will make mistakes but he has transcended "bad Josh".
  3. A lot of fat behinds! The real question is how do they fit 70,000 in that place?
  4. Sorry but I didn't see any "bad Josh" today. You can't expect perfection on every single play. He got sacked and fumbled, it happens. Today Allen was responsible for over 95% of the Bills offensive yardage and all three TDs. That was simply an amazing performance. We need to move off the "bad Josh" meme - it no longer exists.
  5. NFL officials are incompetent. The league has a problem.
  6. Allen brought his A game. Had 95% of the Bills total yards and all 3 TD's. Diggs played like the first team all pro WR he is. Gabe Davis made two of the finest playoff catches in Bills history. Beasley gutted out an impressive performance at WR. Williams showed every kid in America why you hustle and follow the play. Bass made a critical 54 yard FG Hyde just made a beach volleyball team once the season is over in February with his spectacular spike to thwart the hail Marry.
  7. Agreed. We're to hard on the Bills. Seattle lost by 10 points to a team with a QB playing without a thumb.
  8. All hail Josh Allen, first of his QB draft class to win an NFL playoff game.
  9. This reminds of the first NE win this season. It was a mental hump we had to get over and we did - just barely. What we saw today with Allen was off the charts amazing. He accounted for over 90% of our total yards and all three TD's. From a long term perspective any doubt that this guy isn't among the best QB's in the NFL was answered today. In fact IMO today showed he is best QB in the NFL.
  10. Sorry but this idea seems like a refuge for the last of the "wrong Josh" crowd. I buy into the notion that no fans on the road has helped a lot of QB's. That makes sense to me. And sure the over hyped up Allen was a real thing but I believe it was more then the fans but rather his entire pre-game mindset that needed to be adjusted. And from what we've seen & heard it has. I addition to his nagging injury I think we saw a bit of sugar rush Josh against KC. That was a huge game and he seemed over hyped to me. If he comes out riding a high it will not be due to the fans IMO (all 6,000 of them) but rather that it's a playoff game. And as long as he gets past it by the 2nd quarter it won't have much of an impact beyond a couple of early punts.
  11. I saw that play as a reaction call on Allen's part. Throw a kitchen sink blitz at the Bills QB and Brown gets the quick pass in the flat.
  12. Talking about "smoke screens" with Brown looking healthy and fast that WR screen is back on the menu. As I recall it was very effective in the early going when Brown was on the field.
  13. One thing is true, teams are going to be lining up to make a trade with the Bills and the Bills should oblige them. Consider just how win/win our trading has been: * First the famous Mahomes trade. KC sure liked it and it got us Tre White and cleared the way for Josh Allen. * Then the Diggs trade with the Vikings. We got the NFL leader in receptions & yards and they got a stud rookie WR in Jefferson.
  14. At the risk of outing myself as an old crank that music is horrible.
  15. You know if McD was really channeling Belichuck he might hold Beasley out of the Miami game and be very vague about his availability while focusing the offense on McKenzie against the Dolphins. This results in the Colts working out how best to deal with McKenzie in the slot only to look up and see Beasley lining up in the slot. Of course that means McKenzie goes back to being the trickster with DaBold dialing something interesting up.
  16. After watching the dance party videos and stretching warm up video I'm certain Diggs is playing and Beasley sure didn't look like someone whose knees are bothering him.
  17. Is it possible that they're focusing more on getting Brown and Stills work with Allen? Give Diggs a couple of days off to get ready for the playoff game.
  18. That was true before KC fell behind by two or more scores in both of last years playoff games only to coming roaring back and win those games on the back of their offense. Heck, go back to the Bills SB years and you can argue that we went to 4 straight SB's on the back of an elite offense and average defense.
  19. Man talk about karmic foreshadowing - watching Allen comfortably praise his team mates & coach while a steady snow falls all around him just screams "I'm headed to Buffalo Baby"!
  20. If Barkley handing off to an undrafted free agent rookie RB and throwing passes to a rookie 4th round draft pick WR is running up the score then they must be using a different dictionary then I use.
  21. It bugs me because those most guilty of this are being PAID to cover pro football and I can't abide pure laziness. It was clear to those of us paying attention that Allen displayed numerous WOW throws and jaw dropping examples of his athleticism in his rookie year. His running ability was a real eye opener. But he also showed an ability to extend passing plays and some of his rookie season throws were amazing. You could assemble a long highlight reel of great Allen throws and runs from his rookie year. Now to be fair you could also assemble a long low light reel where Allen did one dumb thing after anther. But this was to be expected for a raw rookie surrounded with almost no offensive talent. Jump to year 2 and not only did Allen clearly improve his traditional QBing but he added to his resume of jaw dropping plays, most of which were now with his arm. Again you could create a long highlight reel showing off his skills but now the low light reel would be much shorter. For anyone paying attention Allen's improvement from year 1 to year 2 was clear and impressive. Now in year 3 there isn't really anything more to say other then his highlight reel is as long as Gone With the Wind and his low light reel is non existent.
  22. I guess if you're looking for reasons to be pessimistic about the upcoming game looking back at last years Houston playoff loss is a good place to start. But what I see are some very big differences between this year and last year including: * The Huston offense was a much more explosive & dynamic offense then the current Indy O. * This game will be in Buffalo not on the road as it was against the Texans. * This Bills offense is much better then it was last year. If we hold Indy to 22 points I suspect we win this game by two scores.
  23. It is? You just described the Miami/Pittsburgh/Denver offenses to a T. My fear is probably the same as most Bills fans and that is that the Indy running game get going and we get gashed like we did against KC. But without having to worry about a deep strike passing attack and with a much improved run defense in the 2nd half of the season we should be okay Saturday.
  24. Best position coach of the year: the Special Teams coach. I don't even know the guys name but our ST's have been outstanding and have improved as the season went on. I suspect they will be a difference in one of our upcoming playoff wins.
