That's buying into their screwy false narrative. There are a lot of retired Bills in the HOF who never won a Super Bowl. I don't know what motivates these people to come on 2BD and take shots at Allen. Now that Allen is an elite QB though they have to go all passive aggressive to do it. In fact it's a sign of Allen's progress & success that they're reduced to calling out Allen not winning a SB yet! My guess is that if not this year sometime in the next couple of years even that will go away as Allen leads the Bills to a SB. Bingo.

Interesting rushing stat involving Allen and Singletary

My goodness do these clowns actually get paid to express their knowledge of football? Keep in mind this is after the 2019 season where Allen made big strides in his performance. No wonder Allen is still questioned by some in the national media- their reputations were shredded by him. I guess I should cut these "experts" some slack as they at lest thought Allen was better then Stidham!

Let's not forget that BOTH Amazon & Apple have made live sports events their number one priority and no live sporting event can touch the NFL. The CAP is going to explode over the next couple of years. This will: * Make Allen's contract look cheap faster then you think. * Combine the big CAP bumps with an increased revenue stream from a new stadium and the Pegula's will be able to have their cake & eat it to - we'll see free agent signings where needed while the overall financial situation for the Bills improves. Talk about a perfect sweet spot. Finally the Bills have a franchise coach & GM. Keep them happy and in Buffalo and this run will go on.

We'll have to agree to disagree here. Jones is a handful but ALL 4 Bills WR's were playing hurt. Allen's mobility can at least partially compensate for Jones but if his WR's can't separate things can deteriorate fast. As an aside did Jones lay against Cincy? If he did the Bengal's were able to deal with it and that's with Spain at guard. One last point, the Bills running game really is a lot better then it was in last seasons championship game. If the Bills are patient and stick with their running game it will pay dividends against an aggressive D-lineman like Jones.

Josh Allen Can't Play in the Cold

The best part is the little shake of his head and the look on Belichicks eyes after that Allen run! -
Upon further review ... Spencer Brown is a BALLER
CincyBillsFan replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
The emergence of Brown at RT is huge for the long term competitiveness of the Bills. When you can land a quality starting tackle in the 3rd round who is also a physical specimen and he contributes as a rookie you're playing with house money. And when Brown at RT allows you to move Williams to guard, where he is flourishing, it's like winning the lotto.- 107 replies

Do you remember if the game announcers blamed Allen's 4th quarter struggles in his first playoff game against the Texans as "it's his first playoff game"? I don't. Even though Allen played well in the first half of that game and then got his act together at the end to get us to OT. Yet listen to the excuse making for Murray. Funny how that works for some players and not for others?

Allen has an uncanny gift of making people want to do well so as not to disappoint him. When I first started my professional career I had a boss that was this way. I can't put a finger on a single reason why it was important for me not to let this guy down but it was. I suspect that in the case of Allen it's the culmination of hundreds of small things that Allen does that when combined gives off a powerful aura of leadership.

Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30

It is head scratching how there is this group of NFL "experts" and ex players that just crap all over Allen. It's weird but I suspect goes back to what these people said about Allen's prospects leading up to and after the 2018 draft. -

I disagree with all of this: * You don't love that the Bills played great on Saturday night. Just be honest with us that Allen and the Bills almost perfect performance against NE just makes your trolling harder. * Mahomes already is a transcendent player. He doesn't need to show anything. He's a handful. * You don't hate the idea that the Chiefs will be in the SB every year - you're actively rooting for it especially if they beat Buffalo in the playoffs to get there. * It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Chiefs beat the Bills this week and Mahomes outplays Allen. Of course it wouldn't surprise me if it goes the other way to. These are the two best teams in the AFC and they'll be fighting it our for years. * I believe that the Bills are on the cusp of a series of Super Bowl runs like back in the early 1990's. And IMO this season is the 1989 season minus the bickering part but with all the inconsistency as the team learned to play week in and week out at an elite level. On an encouraging note going forward this current Bills team has had a better season then the 89 Bills did which bodes well for the future. -

You need to get a new history book. Last season Allen put multiple elite performances back to back. Remember, in 2018 Allen started on a team that was undergoing a complete offensive overhaul as a rookie. That rebuilding process wasn't complete until the 2020 season with the arrival of an elite WR in Diggs. -

Actually they did something like this after last season and the surprising outcome was that a majority of the GMs they talked to would take Allen. They saw the two QB' as being very close skill wise and felt that Allen's bigger size and having already navigated playing through hard ties (2018) indicated that he had the better long term potential. -
This is a huge development going forward. It's looking less and less like the Bills will need to blow up the O-line and rebuild it. From the emergence of Bates and Brown to Williams clearly being better at guard this O-line may actually be moving in the direction of being one of the best in the NFL. And they have quality depth with Feliciano able to play guard & center and when Boetenger gets back. Throw in Doyle as the 6th O-lineman, a trend that might become the norm in the NFL going forward, and the Bills have completely reversed the script on their O-line. It's actually amazing.

I agree, Allen thew the perfect ball there: either Knox makes a great catch or we live to try to covert on 3rd down. So yes, a throwaway was definitely on his mind but if that's all he wanted to do some poor frozen fan 10 aisles up in the end zone bleachers would have had a football in their face.
