  1. Josh has juggled some of those handoffs, needs to keep it clean and fast
  2. Moss redemption? Com'on Buffalo!!!!
  3. Finally the flag for that early contact
  4. Beasley has been called on some picks that were barely a scrape, but that was the most obvious offensive pass interference, flag-drawing pick I have seen. It was clumsily executed and cannot believe it did not draw the flag.
  5. Thought he took a helmet to the head... they did not do a replay. Better safe than sorry... will need him for post season
  6. I am hoping this isn't the defense that takes plays off after we get a good lead. Need to play with the same intensity they had when we fell behind.
  7. That first guy has to wrap that up.... for the TFL
  8. Defense needs to stay just as aggressive as they were that last series.
  9. Looked like our own guy went helmet to helmet with Taron? - hope he is ok... he has been coming on that past few weeks.
  10. If they are going to send the house there has to be those coverage gaps around the sticks where they have to be in a loose zone. It was a matter of time that one of those quick hitters was going to make one man miss and go to the house because they are bringing the safety up a lot too. Live by the blitz, die by the blitz.
  11. XPs used to be automatic, but the NFL moved them back a few years ago and now we have these head-scratching misses by not only rookies, but established kickers.
  12. He often seems to push it to the right... needs to change something. Even when he makes it, it is often near that right goal post... just a slight change and he should be solid.
  13. I have been saying it for weeks, Taron Johnson is a stud defender.....
  14. Not sure what shoulder that was supposed to be for Knox, but he did like a complete 360 turn first turned inside, then turned outside and there was plenty of contact, but they are letting a lot of that go from both sides... so whatever. We have been just a hair off from completing a lot of deep plays, Davis has dropped a few and Diggs had a chance to reel in the TD, then Knox with the deep drop. Our line has not blocked well, they are letting guys get right into Josh's lap.
  15. I feel like they have given Knox enough of a look to see what he brings. Athletic, but inconsistent catcher, and a poor blocker. I am starting to feel the same level of frustration I used to feel for Zay, just how many looks and games do you need to have to see what you have in a player. And it is a deliberate thing to play him ahead of Kroft although Kroft has shown more consistency and is a better blocker. There is a stubborn nature in this team where they stick with some players that just are not getting it done in hopes of developing. The difference is that you should see a player trending towards improving, I keep seeing the same things.... I am someone that believes in player development, but it is a two-way street. The player has to show that they are bringing that coaching back to the field.
  16. Noticed that they have been inactivating Kroft who is their best TE for the past few games. I am guessing they do not want to resign him, but I think we have seen what Knox brings and he is a game changer, but too often for the other team.
  17. A Knox non-catch on an amazing Josh scramble, then he pops it up for grabs on the very next play.... WTF
  18. This is a risk I am willing to take.
  19. Possibly, but now that the feckless attempt of Texas to sue other state's election bodies in the Supreme court has died, those spineless anti-democratic Trump groupies can claim they did their best and begin to slither back under their rocks and pretend to do their jobs again. McConnell is going no where and he has more sway over what they do now than a lame duck president on his way out. There is too much self-interests from both sides of the isle to vote against this country's military budget. No one wants the stigma of voting against paying our soldiers on their opponents campaign agenda.
  20. Subtle, but valid point. So he can still veto the bill, but the super majority overrides that veto. Since it is a lost cause, I fully endorse Trump issuing a veto so it can be crushed
  21. 100% They already overruled him with a super majority. The Trump losses keep mounting and it is great to see.
  22. ...and was slapped down by the Senate. As we have seen in the past, Trump does not care if Rome burns to the ground while he fiddles and golfs, and certainly cares more about personal vendettas than he does about running the country. In this case Trump demanded that his poison pill earmark to get rid of Section 230 be a part of the military budget or he would VETO it. This is the over 700 billion dollar budget that basically runs our military, pays our soldiers, etc... Reminder that Section 230 is related to the mechanism that protects and allows a Social Media company to flag the endless diarrhea of lies that come from Trump and other enemies of democracy (Russia, China, and Iran) to be flagged as such so some Trump cultists may have a small chance at breaking free of the cycle of conspiracy and disinformation. The Senate used a super majority to slap him down. https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/11/politics/senate-defense-bill-trump-veto-proof-majority/index.html More about Section 230 - In fairness there should be some kind of bi-partisan effort to review the accountability of large social media platforms and codify what their liability should be, but it is a slippery slope around free speech, and when does free speech becomes something that needs to be checked: harassment, libel, witness intimidation, dangerous incitement to violence, or when used as a tool leveraged by political or foreign actors to spread disinformation to destabilize out nation. https://www.fcc.gov/news-events/blog/2020/10/21/fccs-authority-interpret-section-230-communications-act
  23. Have to agree with you. Considering the near constant exodus of staff, rare access to 1st round blue-chip talent, prescriptive management of cap and personnel - finding bargain vets and signing to short-term deals to plug holes while stock-piling mid-round draft picks for players that they choose to not resign to large long-term cap-limiting deals. Having that franchise QB that you can continue to build around certainly was a factor in their success, but there are no teams out there that managed to stay as competitive as long as the NE Patriots over this era of free-agency. They built both a pass-happy team, and when needed built a power-run team. I do not like the man, but I have to admire how Belichick has been able to craft game plans and get the most out of the pieces at his disposal over the years. There is a reason that GM's like Beane have studied the NE blueprint to try to forge a path towards sustainable success for our own Bills org. Saying all that, I have to still admit that I hate them for a lot of other reasons not the least being how long they have had their foot on our team's throat. It feels good to watch them slide down the AFC standings and hopefully we can scatter their post-season ashes to the wind soon.
  24. Consistency is great, but consistency in an organization with quality leaders that stay "humble and hungry" who embrace that growth mindset... we may be witnessing the beginnings of something truly special in this franchise. Kudos to the Pegulas.
  25. This post should come with a warning label that reading it could make you stupid. This sounds like something some MAGA hat-wearing drunk would struggle to piece together before sliding off his bar stool onto the floor. Someone call this guy a cab.
