Not sure where you came up with that. I never have felt that and don't care. I have admitted that Gandy has done okay at LT so there really is no difference. What I don't like is the sour grapes towards Shelton just because we didn't get him. He is doing a good/not great job. Just like Gandy had been until yesterday, when he absolutely sucked. But you bring up good points. We have no depth, and part of the coaches job is to develop the depth. Even with a healthy Chris V, Williams, etc... this line still sucked, this year. So I look at it as another year removed from "better coahing" then they are getting now, and their ability is spiralling down.
No he really isn't. Take a look at the giants and the current Bills. He got fired from the Giants for making promises that he could take a bunch of very average offensive linemen and make them look great. Well, two years latter without him, they look great, and our line looks a lot worse. Don't tell me it isn't coaching.
You haven't been watching many games this year. Other then one dropfest game, Reed has been our second best receiver this year. Of course our first one was in Ralphs suite watching the game today.
Oh I see, so Mcnally is faultless? Is this because he is a hometown boy. I say bull sh--. He got IMHO what he asked for just like he did in NY, and now there seems to be plenty of excuses on why he is failing. But failing again he does, just as he did in NY. Sorry but I don't agree or see it. He along with the rest of our coaching staff is failing in every aspect and not teaching or putting our players in a position to win. You say he isn't at fault because of Losman, well last year they sucked and that was with Bledsoe. Again, it starts at the line and with the coaching and the blame ends there. If he felt he didn't have the horses he should have been jumping up and down on Donahoes desk and the media to ensure he got the players. Since he didn't he seems to say he can do it. Well he can't, again.
Well he was going to go for them but felt sorry and just kneeled down once he was inside the 10 both times and then kicked them. He was actually hoping to save TD and Mularkeys jobs, so he can ensure 2 more wins next year.
It was a TE over the middle pass, not a stacked right receiver formation, out pattern to an undersized receiver. Also, it was on the 5 not inside the 3. Big difference in play call, formation and situations.
