  1. Joe accurately predicted the CJ Spiller pick in 2010, the Gilmore pick in 2012 and, last year, he predicted trading up to the 5 to 7 spot and taking either Josh Allen or Josh Rosen. I've always believed that Joe has someone on the inside giving him guidance on what the GM and Coach are thinking in a given scenario.
  2. Well, in that case, he'll go to the Raiders at 4. It's also very possible that Tampa would take him and then trade Gerald McCoy for more picks.
  3. Joe B's mock from late March had Quinnen falling to 6 and the Bills trading up for him. If you look at this mock, and the latest one from Joe, I honestly believe that he's either high or he's just trolling Bills fans.
  4. Most scouting reports don't think so either. Jawaan Taylor is the only prospect who has the potential to be a franchise LT. Everyone else (e.g. Williams, Dillard, Tytus Howard) is projected as a right tackle.
  5. I still say we're looking at a 3-13 or 4-12 season at best. Their schedule, up until the Colts game on October 21, is absolutely brutal and then there are the two Pats games and the Jags on Thanksgiving weekend. I even see the Colts game as a tossup, given that it's in Indianapolis and, if Luck is healthy and back to his old form, he and TY Hilton and Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle will have a field day against our defense. The only games I see us winning, are both Dolphins games and maybe the Jets at home.
  6. The opposing defenses won't be as formidable for a while, at least until the they play the Jets on November 11 and Jags over Thanksgiving.
  7. Ravens 42, Bills 7. Suggs, Brandon Williams, Tim Williams and CJ Mosley will obliterate our offensive line (expect more of the same until late October).
  8. "Send McCoy to the 49ers for a 2nd or 3rd. To those who think the offense will suffer without him, it won't. He's just a thug who's on the wrong side of 30 and it's time to move on." - Wayne Arnold
  9. "No other team seemed willing to part ways with that much draft capital" NO KIDDING!
  10. Please use this thread to track the progress and post your praise and worship of the two best DL prospects for next year: Nick Bosa and Ed Oliver.
  11. This now makes the Bears game in November a guaranteed loss. A 1-15, 2-14 season is a very real possibility. So, Bosa and Oliver fans should be rejoicing right now.
  12. I have been paying attention. Unfortunately, there are a growing number of posters who think: "I don't care if Beane has to give up multiple firsts. I want Khalil Mack on this team. No 1st round pass rusher in next year's class will EVER be as good as Mack is RIGHT NOW." I would laugh if Beane did give up two 1sts, additional picks and roster players (Hughes) and signs Mack to a massive, $25 million per year deal, only to see him not exert any effort on the field, like Mario and Dareus did when they got paid.
  13. We don't know that yet. Until you know for sure, you don't make moves like this. Period. But, if you want Mack that badly, I hope Beane pulls the trigger. In fact, I hope he gives up FIVE YEARS of 1st round picks and Mack has 70 sacks this season, while the offense once again sinks to the bottom of the league and struggles to put up more than 3 or 10 points per game. Have fun!!!!
  14. Give up a likely top 5 pick, the best player on the offense and a QB who threw a pick 6 against someone who will be working at Wal Mart for Mack? Brilliant <thick sarcasm>
  15. So, because the draft is a "crap shoot," you'd be ok with giving up two 1sts, plus (probably) Hughes and other roster players, additional picks in 2019 and 2020 AND a $25 million a year contract for Mack? Did you watch the Bengals and Browns games? How did the starting offensive line do in protecting McCarron and Allen? These are the Bills' opponents through mid October: Ravens, Chargers, Vikings, Packers, Titans, Texans. All of these teams have defenses that will obliterate our offensive line and whoever's under center. Having Mack on this team will ultimately mean NOTHING in those games. Are you saying that you would be ok watching those disasters, just so you could wear a red, white and blue Khalil Mack jersey on Sundays?
  16. If Beane gives up two 1st round picks (especially when our 2019 1st could very well yield us either Nick Bosa, Ed Oliver or Trey Adams) and a roster player for a disgruntled DE who will be looking to BEAT Aaron Donald's new contract, he should be fired.
