  1. That attitude just might be a bigger problem for thisw country than what the cops DID! SO very sad!
  2. Maybe because it happen IN the United States of America! Further it was really nice to see a young women come up to the "attack" and repeatedly tell the police that they were out of line, that the man was not doing anything wrong and they just pushed her away, all the while the mounted police officer kept moving his horse in front of the camera's view. Then a cop attacks an AP TV producer and boldly exclaims his name and badge number. I am certain the NO police have gone through hell and back, however, so have the citizens, like this "victim". With that said this force does not have the greatest reputation (understated) but this was just plain wrong.
  3. Oh come on that's a shared item!
  4. QUOTE(Alaska Darin @ Oct 11 2005, 12:28 AM) Marty Schottenheimer may be the worst big game coach in NFL history. Uhhh....It's hard to look past a coach who takes a team to the Superbowl 4 times in a row and losses all of them.
  5. OK so the wife girls and me are planning on Lot 1..........Now who the heck are we gonna meet? After our New Orleans trip went bust we are really looking forward to meeting some of you! Do we need to wear name tags with MR and Mrs 30 Dive, and litle 30 Dive #1 and #2? Should we bring gifts?
  6. OK so where do we go to meet a few of you Jack told me about Pole 5 or was it 6 in lot 1, so I'm confussed....You know us Virginian's are a little slow. So I guess I'm looking for a good pre-game party for the jets game to bring my family. The girls (ages 10 and 7) 1st home Bills game. And what time are you all starting for this 4:15 start.
  7. Well done Don. If I need a lawyer I'm calling you! I really don't care if your a lawyer or not.....You did this at 3:25am. Maybe the LAPD could use you! Also, in a number of years when OJ is lying in his death bed, I'm quite certain that in his final minutes on earth the Juice will be scared shitless.
  8. Bills talk on the Off Topic Board!!!! Where are the MODS. Move this thread!
  9. Hey Now....Keep God out of the Constitution.
  10. Don't worry....Be Happy! Listening to it on the radio....I thought it applied so well.
  11. Wooooohaaaaahaaaahaaaahaaaa....oh my god that was funny.....wooohoooohaaahaaaaa.....bahhhhhhh.......jesus....I can't stop laughing........you're a funny fish..err...mammal!
  12. OK let me try...........phewww...OK here goes.......breath........Our first loss came against a high flying Tampa team in 100 degree heat, while we wore dark jerseys...OK so far so good.....breath......The second loss came against a team that last year played in the NFC Championship game and some folks have them in the Super Bowl this season........................Phewwwwwwwwwwww....OK keep going.....and Sundays loss came in strange city against a team coming home, albeit, a temporary home, for the first time this season. While our teams dissapointed QB who had been looking forward to playing this game in his old college town had to play in central Texas. Now that wasn't too bad......And hey we are undefeated in our conference as well as our division. Yea baby.......here we come Superbowl 40.....errrr.....6
  13. A freekin men! Although I'm still not sure we have a TE that can catch?????? The only TE reception I have seen has been a TD by Peters......Oh wait a minute he is a tackle. How in heavens name do we develop a young QB without a reliable TE who can catch.
  14. John, I have been coching HS and youth football for 17 years and you situation will ALWAYS be there. Do NOT let this get you down, they go away and you will always remember the good ones, the good kids and the parents. Two thoughts: At the youth level, before the season starts it is vital to have a parents meeting and explain the playing rules and how your team will work with them. Also, that in NO way is a parent to speak with an assistant coach, only the head coach and certainly NOT on game day. See or call the coach on Monday to discuss concerns. This is also a great time for the coach to discuss his concerns about the kid an/or the parent/s. Short story, nice kid played for us as a 10 -12 year old, kinda overweight, slow, not very aggresive, but we coached him and worked with him, he never started and played just a little, his parents were nice enough but they let us know that they were not overly impressed with the amount of playing time their kid was getting. He was a big part of our team just not a starter, he loved the game and his team, seemingly more than his parents and I believe he greatly benifitted from us not putting him in positions that he could not perform at. Fast forward, this young man stayed with the game and now is being corted heavily by VA Tch and a host of other schools. I'm proud to say I had a little bit to do with his growth as a football player and a young man. My HS team plays against his team in a couple weeks.
  15. So now Bills fans want they're Punter and their Placekicker to have a good year. - NFL office, NY League rule: The Buffalo Bills can only have one good kicker per year.
  16. This just might be fun. Hey...Do the local Rubgy folks still run the Maggot Fest in Missoula? Played a few times in the early 80's.....Had a lot of trout and drank a lot of beer. Oh and played some rugby too!
  17. Thanks Jack!
  18. It also wasn't Losman who selected another Wide out in the draft and did NOT improve the O-line in front of the "rookie" QB, and it was not Losman who hasn't given the QB a pass catching TE since , who Pete Metzalars (sp)!!!
  19. So now it is the Jets game at Orchard Park. Now please don’t get me wrong, I am not crying about anything, I know, I know the people in Louisiana have it much harder than I’ll ever have it, but…… My wife and I were very happy, we were going to spend a great weekend in New Orleans Louisiana, together, alone, no kids, and finish the weekend watching the Bills play the Saints. Well you all know what happened next. Well we were still going to make this thing work, we would go to San Antonio, but, alas the Airlines said “sure, we would be happy to change your reservation and no sir, we won’t charge you for it,” and then she goes on to say…..”Oh you must have gotten a great deal when you bought these tickets, because it is going to cost you about $178.00 more per ticket (that’s $356.00 ) to fly to San Antonio” Needless to say I was not happy, but I’m pretty determined to go and was ready to fork over the money. But nooooo, some of you know I coach HS football, our Friday night game was moved from Friday to Saturday(What else could go wrong), and so with this I would need to miss a game, which really is not an option. So I’m whining to my wife and kids and my oldest daughter says why don’t you guys just go to another game, and could we (our two daughters) go??? With that said and my face a couple shades of red, I proceeded to purchase four tickets to the Jets game. The tickets arrived Saturday, so the whole 30dive clan will be at the Bills-Jets game, it will be our kids first “regular season game”, they’ve seen the Bills play in pre-season, and although I was really looking forward to spending time in the Big Easy ALONE with my wife, meeting some of you fellow Bills fans down there, I have to admit, I am looking forward to spending a Sunday afternoon in Orchard park with my three girls. Oh……Can anyone recommend a tailgate we would enjoy?????
  20. First a story about his 10 year old daughter now this. If he does not stop this stuff, I'm going to have to start liking him! http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2172623 In Short: ........Meets with dying 10 year old boy at his home and lets him call the first play against the University of Washington on Saturday. The boy, named Montana, named after Joe Montana, died Friday night and did not see the game. Weis ran the play...Pass Right.
  21. OUCH! Spikes done for season By ALLEN WILSON News Sports Reporter 9/26/2005 The Buffalo Bills lost more than a 24-16 decision to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. A lot more. Two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Takeo Spikes suffered what is believed to be a torn right Achilles tendon in the second quarter. The Bills haven't made an official announcement yet, but all indications are that Spikes will miss the rest of the season.
  22. It has become very dissapointing in so that this organization made up their minds to go with their young QB, which in itself is fine. Then sold us on a thrown together group of rejected 300 plus pound O-linemen, all the while this team has a stable of TE's stitting in the infimary but yet refused to go out and get a TE that could catch. JP has a great deal to learn, but I am not sure how this "kid" is going to grow up into an NFL QB when he does not have the confidence in his O-line (my words, not his...yet) nor does he have a safety valve (read TE) to go to.
  23. Amen...But I've given my two cents on the "Off Topic board".
  24. Just my two cents...But I'm hopefull that the OT forum fails..Sorry SDS....What makes this board so attractice is the "community"; we ask for help, we offer help, pick on each other, defend each other, pray for friends and their friends, brag about certain feats. I've always looked at this place as a kind of extended family. And yes sometimes the OT's seem non-stop, but during the season the OT's seem to slow down quite a bit; they take care of themselves. So again my two cents....move the OT back.
