No.... but if you are flying into Milwaukee, visit Kopp's for probably the best custard I have ever eaten. See you in New Orleans!

Did you hear me complain about the reason? NO. I'm just whinning about the fact that we had we had to spend fiveplus hours in a jet on the tarmac. But something tells me it would have been better to stay at the terminal than to have pulled away from the gate, yes there where flights coming in from out west that needed the gates, but thre where no flights coming in from the east. United provides head sets to all flyers and you can listen to the pilots talking with the tower. Two minutes into our pushing from the gate , the tower informs our pilot that he needs to travel to the "penalty box" (his words), about a five minute trip and shut down. Pilot asks him how long are we looking at, tower tells our pilot that planes have been parking on the tarmac for over an hour and a half now (yes due to the weather, a band of storms running from Detroit to Nashville). Oh well....I'm still gonna whine!

So anyone else on this board spend 5 and a half hours in your plane on the tarmac at Chicago yesterday? Returning home with the family from out west, we left the gate on time and then spent (again) 5 and 1/2 hours in the packed full 90 degree plane for our final leg to Richmond. I must say this though, the flight attendants were great, fellow customers were great and the pilots were awesome...The Captain even ordered McDonalds (when we returned to the gate to refuel...no we could not de-plane) for everyone on the flight and paid for it out of pocket....No United will not pay him back. Vacation was great, spent time in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington and even visited the Seahawks training facilties....very nice.

OT: What a great Mom - sued to allow

I think they'de call out a S.W.A.T. team these days... I think you are right. I remember in HS stopping the shower drains (big shower area 20 x 20) letting the area fill with water about 6 - 8 inches deep and all of us sliding across the floor buck ass naked, laughing our asses off the whole time, and I never gave it one thought that someone might be looking at my penis.....eh can I say that!! -

Heck this shouldn't be much of a problem as these kids won't take showers anyhow. We just put in new lockers ( you know the kind the athlete can sit in, really nice ones) and were told that we had to put shower curtains in! We had them put in and they still went "home to shower". And for those kids who do.....I got chewed by my AD because my wrestlers where walking around the locker room.....naked...after showering.....Seems it offended other athletes. -

SI's Top 5 NFL Training Camps
30dive replied to SHOUTBOX MONSTER!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is right about one thing, Facilities at Wofford (Panthers), Eastern WA (Seahawks) and St. John Fisher are outstanding. LAMP - I thought it was funny (three in top "5"), as these are the only facilites I've been too, so I can't compare to the ones above or below, but these three are outstanding. We take my HS team to Wofford each June for camp. Although, Niagara was nice. -
..............my kids enjoyed Big Fat Liar..............But I'm thinking your right, I mean the movie is ok the rest of the time, so now the terrorist have control over network programing PS - I "had" no idea what Reign of Fire was, just saw it listed in the title box, so I am now assuming it has something to to with terror.
-
Absolutly amazing....A community is bombed by terrorist and here we go again...liberal this and conservative that.....what a bunch of crap, the fact is none of us want this, and the fact is we are doing the best we can, but it's so much fun to point the finger at one (or group) of our own and place blame.......hmmmm, sounds like something the terrorist might like.

Good thoughts and prayers.......

My wife and I went to the drive-in last night to see War of the Worlds and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. - Fezmid I'm just jelous of the fac that you got to see it at a DRIVE-IN!!!!

We saw it last night.........Very good entertainment, well done, the FX and sound was fantastic. In the book wasn't there a reference to "sirens"? Well the "sirens" in the movie created an edge of your seat fear. PS - I could give a crap about Tom Cruise and his issues....I pay money for entertainers to entertain me, I am really not interested in their life issues.

.....many shining moments....

Rubes.....I'm not so sure about the cheese on your scrotum....but if it works, what the hell go for it.....But Coke (Pepsi in Buffalo) works on rust, fabric sheets on wet dogs, although masking, does aid in wet dog smell, and a very nice lady I know tried the honey on a zit, covered it with a band-aid and the next morning it was gone, sure it might have gone away anyway, but......... Further the Gatorade thing makes real sense, as most headaches are due to de-hydration, therefore hydrating yourself with Gatorade or the like, including water, in most cases should do the trick.

GRANDMA'S CURES Keep this on the Fridge Did You Know That? Drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve headache pain almost immediately -- without the unpleasant side effects caused by traditional "pain relievers." Did you know that Colgate toothpaste makes an excellent salve for burns. Before you head to the drugstore for a high-priced inhaler filled with mysterious chemicals, try chewing on a couple of curiously strong Altoids peppermints. They'll clear up your stuffed nose. Achy muscles from a bout of the flu? Mix 1 Tablespoon of horseradish in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil, for instant relief for aching muscles. Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria. Cure urinary tract infections with Alka-Seltzer. Just dissolve two tablets in a glass of water and drink it at the onset of the symptoms. Alka-Seltzer begins eliminating urinary tract infections almost instantly -- even though the product has never been advertised for this use. Honey remedy for skin blemishes... Cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a Band-Aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin sterile, and speeds healing. Works overnight. Listerine therapy for toenail fungus... Get rid of unsightly toenail fungus by soaking your toes in Listerine mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves your toenails looking healthy again. Easy eyeglass protection... To prevent the screws in eyeglasses from loosening, apply a small drop of Maybelline Crystal Clear nail polish to the threads of the screws before tightening them. Coca-Cola cure for rust... Forget those expensive rust removers. Just saturate an abrasive sponge with Coca Cola and scrub the rust stain. The phosphoric acid in the coke is what gets the job done. Cleaning liquid that doubles as bug killer... If menacing bees, wasps, hornets, or yellow jackets get in your home and you can't find the insecticide, try a spray of Formula 409. Insects drop to the ground instantly. Smart splinter remover...just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue-All over the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue. Hunt's tomato paste boil cure...cover the boil with Hunt's tomato paste as a compress. The acids from the tomatoes soothe the pain and bring the boil to a head. Balm for broken blisters...To disinfect a broken blister, dab on a few drops of Listerine... a powerful antiseptic. Heinz vinegar to heal bruises... Soak a cotton ball in white vinegar and apply it to the bruise for 1 hour. The vinegar reduces the blueness and speeds up the healing process. Kills fleas instantly. Dawn dish washing liquid does the trick. Add a few drops to your dog's bath and shampoo the animal thoroughly. Rinse well to avoid skin irritations. Goodbye fleas. Rainy day cure for dog odor... Next time your dog comes in from the rain, simply wipe down the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet, instantly making your dog smell springtime fresh. Eliminate ear mites... All it takes is a few drops of Wesson corn oil in your cat's ear. Massage it in, then clean with a cotton ball. Repeat daily for 3 days. The oil soothes the cat's skin, smothers the mites, and accelerates healing. Quaker Oats for fast pain relief....It's not for breakfast anymore! Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture to your hands for soothing relief from arthritis is pain.
