I will be the first one to to call for MM's head, with that said I would rather MM than another unproven DC or OC to take over the ship and learn on the job. If, and that is admittedly a big if, Ralph Wilson can bring in an experienced head coach from the NFL or MAJOR college program I say do it.
-
Modrak has been a big question mark in my mind as well. I am hopefull that without TD around and Brandon taking care of his side of the shop we just might be OK. It also buys Wilson some time as to weather he wants to keep MM or bring someone else in, certainly Modrak can live with MM, but he could also ride his options out a wee bit longer.

Russ Brandon and Tom Modrak would make an outstanding front office team at One Bills Drive. Brandon, who has been the VP in charge of Business Delvelopment and Marketing has obvioulsy done an outstanding job in that arena at Buffalo. Modrak has stated on many occasions that he would rather scout and evaluate talent than sit behind a desk and play office boss would give us a person who's sole job would be to evaluate talent and negotiate with palyers and their agents. This combination would provide the Bills with the best of both worlds. There would be a clear division of duties allowing each of them to concentrate on their areas of strength. Basically Brandon would fill the seats and Modrak would fill the roster. IMHO we need a Manager/VP who will spend his full time dealing with football only issues, and a Manager/VP who will spend his time dealing with business (read daily operations) and marketing issues only. Modrak would not be distracted by the non-football issues that TD has had (read chosen) to deal with.

Mid-Atlantic'rs, might as well start planning the Baltimore tailgate, at least we have a party to look forward to!

It was a little different for us, but our oldest fought us hard at bed time, working herself up so much that she threw up. Once she figured that out that this would keep her up, she forced herself to throw up each night. With nothing left to do I told her if she throws up she is going to clean it up herself. So while she was working herself up I went to the shed grabbed a bucket, filled it with soapy water and a old rag and set it by her and walked away....Well she must have given it some serious thought, the vomiting stopped, never happened again. She was 4 or 5 years old.

But...but the Maid of the Mist, would be a great party boat! -
HUH! So let me get this straight, if Mr. Wilson doesn't fire MM then I would rather the team leave Buffalo? Are you saying this season hasn't been crap? Sorry if you disagree, but like it or not it has been and the GM and the HC are the primary reasons. But don't worry Adam, even if we only win two games (Gd Forbid) next year I'll drag my "subjected" self from Virginia to Buffalo (at least three times) and I'll pay my money for the DTV Ticket so I can watch our Bills play. Like you, I'm a fan and oh this season was crap!
-
Evil ends!!!! The only thing evil here would be for Ralph Wilson to put us through another season of this crap! The player said WM could have run for 200 yards, we wanted to run more but the coaches thought otherwise. Nothing to twist here.
-
Coaches that have control of a team, don't have players making theses remarks. So his remarks can now be taken two ways...First, he spoke the truth, which confirms what most of us have been questioning all season...Play calling. Second, if one were to take his remark as being disprespectful towards his coach, then one might argue that the players have no respect for the coach.
-
"Of course we would have liked to run the ball more," Villarrial said, "but we're only the players. We only do what's called." - from the Buffalo-News, Jerry Sullivan 1/02/06 This, more than anything said over the past few months tells me that MM has no handle on his team. Until this I have been lukewarrm regarding a future for MM, but this says it all....MM must go!

May 2006 bring you all happiness and good health..........And for Christ sake a winning team at One Bills Drive. And if you must drink (I must) don't drive ( I won't). Peace

LAMP, LAMP, LAMP, Don't forget 30Dive I have been screaming this for nearly two years. Even the teams with the most average QB's win when you have a quality O-line. Hey has anyone seen this kid Collage (sp) LT Boise State play. I've seen him play about four times over the past two yeasrs (ESPN loves the smurf turf) He certainly isn't first round material but he would be a nice pick up come April. -
See now, I tried the google thing and the Ask Jeeves thing and hell I even tried Pooj's idea and what did I get for googling "noise makers for joggers?" Result: Bruce Hornsby and Here Come the Noise Makers. oh well. Maybe I'll do the bean thingy

Anyone have a line on noise makers, sirens, etc. for runners to carry? Thanks -30-

SO my understanding nmow is......There is no deadline, and you really don't have to do this if you trust the communications companies do what they say, but the site I referered to to is a real government site. Phewww! Here's the truth: A national directory will be compiled, but numbers will be included on an opt-in basis. If a cell phone subscriber does nothing, the number will not be listed. When the directory is ready, it will be available only as part of the existing 411 directory service, accessed by calling in and asking for a specific number. It will not be published in a book or on the Internet. And it will not be sold to telemarketers. Cell phone subscribers can list their numbers on the do-not-call registry if they choose, but there is no deadline to get on the list, as the e-mail messages now circulating suggest
-
I did it on the National Do Not Call registry and went to dot gov thing and printed the reciept at the government site. If scammed oh well, but the goverment site looked pretty extensive...Check it out and tell me I'm crazy...check that I know I'm crazy, ah just tell me what you think. -30-

Just a Reminder---- THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY, ALL CELL PHONE NUMBERS ARE BEING RELEASED TO TELEMARKETING COMPANIES AND YOU WILL START TO RECEIVE SALE CALLS........YOU COULD BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS...... To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL LIST. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for 5 years. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS OR GO TO: http://www.donotcall.gov/ To register multiple phones go to the web site! It is very easy and you can register three numbers at a time and repeat the process as many times as you need to. I just registered nine phones and it took me maybe 5 minutes.
