  1. I very much believe this. Every elite QB needs a guy to depend on, with Hill gone, if Kelce gets dinged Mahomes won't have that receiver.
  2. Catch 22... Ukraine thinks they can win and they're royally pi$$ed because of the Russian atrocities. They won't stop fighting, so we have two options: weapons or no weapons. We choose weapons because we are America and we do that pretty well and we'll run this pony till it can't run no more as long as it's hurting Putin who has put himself firmly in a bad spot. If we chose no weapons then Russia would have enough of a victory that they could propagandize it while they put further economic pressure on Europe along with terrorizing, killing, and raping Ukranian citizens to an even greater extent. There's no perfect response by us right now and there's no avenue for peace when you have an aggressive country invading a neutral one and committing atrocities and destroying its infrastructure. Ukranians have EVERYTHING to fight for right now.
  3. Holy F Margie...he's free to speak them and he did. The effect of his words did damage and a court decided that it did. That's also MURICA! He's not going to jail...you're only "Free without repercussion" if you speak the "TRUTH" as established in the Zenger trial many moons ago. All this decision did is establish that there is indeed a reality. It's the same one Alex Jones and the families of the dead kids live in. At least we have that...still.
  4. Maybe you were but our intelligence community had this one nailed. The Ukranian citizens barely believed it was going to happen. Our intel community was jumping up and down about it in the months leading up. A coalition would have been different than NATO in what way? Should NATO have made a more specific threat to Putin?
  5. Guy was everywhere...unreal. Worth every penny and may be the best LB in the league. He's ours!
  6. https://static.www.nfl.com/image/upload/v1629470683/league/ovinvbctariqolangujz.pdf The link abo e is the NFL protocol checklist. To me it is readily apparent that they clearly violated it. After the first section, in the right hand column under the STOP sign is listed *Gross Motor Instability and below that is the determination (If observed at any point, NO RETURN TO PLAY). Everyone watching the Bills/Fins game witnessed Tua's "Gross Motor Instability" on the field. I hope he's OK, seems like a great competitor and teammate.
  7. Maybe an uninformed question as I've never had a hammy injury...I know they linger and greatly affect players that are asked to sprint a lot. Is a hammy "less" impactful for a lineman who doesn't need to sprint nearly as much and just needs burst and strength to do his job? per Phillips...
  8. So FBI agents are humans and the FBI is doing what it should be doing when they find out about personal political bias affecting law enforcement?
  9. I don't disagree. The issue is that what you propose is VERY expensive. People hate all over public schools as it is because they don't understand the amount of federally mandated expenditures. What you just proposed is probably a million dollar yearly expenditure for a rural school district IF they have their physical security in shape. Great idea if we're willing to pay for it.
  10. I'm not sure what you would like them to do. The war zone is a very dangerous place and nobody is safe on the front lines. This is unlike other modern wars that we have been involved in because it is between two flagged states. Iraq and Afghanistan were largely insurgent wars with imbedded American journalists with our troops almost at every turn. This is far different and getting real time journalism in a very active and dangerous war zone or reliable information from an aggressive dictatorship (Russia) or a defensively postured country that is fighting for its existence (Ukraine) is next to impossible. Ukraine has been reticent to even take credit for some of their major scores because they don't want to give up any info that might expose their forces.
  11. Russia's Ministry of Propaganda now being run by Alex Jones.
  12. Big Marv Levy bobblehead bar? The broken table saloon?
  13. Just think about Miller sacking Mack...Jones that is...Miller sacking Mack Jones...yeah, yeah...just repeat that and you'll be happy!
  14. Hahhaa, Peter Schiff hasn't been out of HIS suit since 1991! Let alone "rolled his sleeves up" for anything. I know it's tough to visualize a war zone from the ivory tower but my gawd!
  15. @ Sherpa... Do you believe that Putin has put inferior pilots to the task in Ukraine? The "elite" and or "battle hardened" pilots were possibly not involved?
  16. Maybe they will understand that we have more in common than we don't and that if we put it together we can be better than we are now. Ukraine now understands that.
  17. Take it...no...dictate policy that is detrimental to it and the United States...yes...let bullies and murderers run around unchecked and you get consequences you don't want.
  18. Noted...I do too, but not at the expense of Europe. I don't believe my grandkids have a fair shake if we give up Europe to dictators.
  19. Not arguing for war. That's a NATO analogy. I won't explain it. Maybe it's bad, maybe you don't understand it...we may never know.
  20. I'm not saying anything about Trump, what I'm saying is that it's a low brow tactic in a very dynamic situation that doesn't make sense. If Donald proved anything it's that Jersey real estate tactics don't apply to international political affairs. Foreign policy isn't a used car deal and the equating of the two is a poor comparison...IMO. I guess the other part that irks me in conversations on this topic is that we far outspend the world on a military that is waaaayyy larger than we would ever need to actually defend the United States against an invasion. Since that's what we do and we have this huge military and massive military industrial complex then we need to utilize it to enforce our will throughout the world in any given situation that we choose. We all benefit from that flex whether any of us wants to admit it. We live under its umbrella. If your view is that we should withdraw into our shell then your view should also be to shrink our military to a reasonable sized force necessary to adequately defend ourselves and that's it. In which case we should reduce our military expenditures and lower tax rates to match. If that's your position then the stance of "we'll take our guns and go home" makes sense and is a real threat. If it's not your stance or the government's stance (which I don't think it is or ever will be) then it's a bluff that makes us look stupid because the world knows we like our weapons and weaponry and that it's illogical to have a massive military that we're not going to deploy and use a huge persuasion throughout the world. I don't hear that from those who beat the drum of "we should withdraw from the world stage" and it doesn't make sense. If I own brewery and you own a cattle farm and we're having a party then who's brining the beer and who's bringing the steaks? If you want to bring the prime beef and I want to bring the over run lager and you think I should kick you some bucks to make it fair, let's talk about it. Don't come at me with, "well, I'll just sit at my house and eat steak then".
  21. So, you're equating the threat of the US leaving a 70 plus year old pact established after the last world war to ensure regional peace on the continent of Europe to walking out of a used car dealership?? Right, right...good tactic.
  22. Yup, but damage is done. Once a politician is given a free pass by the American people to do these things then they will always be done. We're digging our own grave. They WORK for US...it's not a common theme among the true believers from each party.
