Two Head Injuries Within 4 Days For Tua - Does He Turn Out Like Trent Edwards?
LDD replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
https://static.www.nfl.com/image/upload/v1629470683/league/ovinvbctariqolangujz.pdf The link abo e is the NFL protocol checklist. To me it is readily apparent that they clearly violated it. After the first section, in the right hand column under the STOP sign is listed *Gross Motor Instability and below that is the determination (If observed at any point, NO RETURN TO PLAY). Everyone watching the Bills/Fins game witnessed Tua's "Gross Motor Instability" on the field. I hope he's OK, seems like a great competitor and teammate. -
Maybe an uninformed question as I've never had a hammy injury...I know they linger and greatly affect players that are asked to sprint a lot. Is a hammy "less" impactful for a lineman who doesn't need to sprint nearly as much and just needs burst and strength to do his job? per Phillips...

So FBI agents are humans and the FBI is doing what it should be doing when they find out about personal political bias affecting law enforcement?

What is better, no guns, or more guns?

I don't disagree. The issue is that what you propose is VERY expensive. People hate all over public schools as it is because they don't understand the amount of federally mandated expenditures. What you just proposed is probably a million dollar yearly expenditure for a rural school district IF they have their physical security in shape. Great idea if we're willing to pay for it. -

I'm not sure what you would like them to do. The war zone is a very dangerous place and nobody is safe on the front lines. This is unlike other modern wars that we have been involved in because it is between two flagged states. Iraq and Afghanistan were largely insurgent wars with imbedded American journalists with our troops almost at every turn. This is far different and getting real time journalism in a very active and dangerous war zone or reliable information from an aggressive dictatorship (Russia) or a defensively postured country that is fighting for its existence (Ukraine) is next to impossible. Ukraine has been reticent to even take credit for some of their major scores because they don't want to give up any info that might expose their forces. -

Hahhaa, Peter Schiff hasn't been out of HIS suit since 1991! Let alone "rolled his sleeves up" for anything. I know it's tough to visualize a war zone from the ivory tower but my gawd! -

@ Sherpa... Do you believe that Putin has put inferior pilots to the task in Ukraine? The "elite" and or "battle hardened" pilots were possibly not involved?

Maybe they will understand that we have more in common than we don't and that if we put it together we can be better than we are now. Ukraine now understands that. -

Take it...no...dictate policy that is detrimental to it and the United States...yes...let bullies and murderers run around unchecked and you get consequences you don't want. -

Noted...I do too, but not at the expense of Europe. I don't believe my grandkids have a fair shake if we give up Europe to dictators. -

Not arguing for war. That's a NATO analogy. I won't explain it. Maybe it's bad, maybe you don't understand it...we may never know. -

I'm not saying anything about Trump, what I'm saying is that it's a low brow tactic in a very dynamic situation that doesn't make sense. If Donald proved anything it's that Jersey real estate tactics don't apply to international political affairs. Foreign policy isn't a used car deal and the equating of the two is a poor comparison...IMO. I guess the other part that irks me in conversations on this topic is that we far outspend the world on a military that is waaaayyy larger than we would ever need to actually defend the United States against an invasion. Since that's what we do and we have this huge military and massive military industrial complex then we need to utilize it to enforce our will throughout the world in any given situation that we choose. We all benefit from that flex whether any of us wants to admit it. We live under its umbrella. If your view is that we should withdraw into our shell then your view should also be to shrink our military to a reasonable sized force necessary to adequately defend ourselves and that's it. In which case we should reduce our military expenditures and lower tax rates to match. If that's your position then the stance of "we'll take our guns and go home" makes sense and is a real threat. If it's not your stance or the government's stance (which I don't think it is or ever will be) then it's a bluff that makes us look stupid because the world knows we like our weapons and weaponry and that it's illogical to have a massive military that we're not going to deploy and use a huge persuasion throughout the world. I don't hear that from those who beat the drum of "we should withdraw from the world stage" and it doesn't make sense. If I own brewery and you own a cattle farm and we're having a party then who's brining the beer and who's bringing the steaks? If you want to bring the prime beef and I want to bring the over run lager and you think I should kick you some bucks to make it fair, let's talk about it. Don't come at me with, "well, I'll just sit at my house and eat steak then". -

So, you're equating the threat of the US leaving a 70 plus year old pact established after the last world war to ensure regional peace on the continent of Europe to walking out of a used car dealership?? Right, right...good tactic. -

Say it man, say it. It's the truth. One of the biggest issues with this team is discipline. Look for Belicheat's team to clean up their act against us next week. Can we do the same?? Coaching and discipline is a huge issue with this team this year. I like McD but he needs to clean up some messes that CANNOT happen if we're going to win in Foxboro next week. In other news, this is probably the biggest game we've ever played in Foxboro as far as importanc. Go Bills! -

Good win against a really good D and a much improved (from 2020) Cam Newton. I respect the hell out that dude after his effort today. Frazier dialed up great blitz packages today. D line played tough most of the day and made some huge plays at big moments by knocking down passes. Allen is so good that when he's not AMAZING people think he played poorly. That's a good thing. Only play I really didn't like was the sack when we were backed way up on 3rd down in the fourth quarter. Looked like old Josh, scrambling, ball switching hands...scary. I didn't even hate the INT too much. He's a gun slinger and gun slingers gonna sling. DB made a great read by breaking off his coverage. O-line got a really good push at times today, which was different. Motor played great. Brown is a rookie being asked to do a lot. 5 penalties is unacceptable. He knows that, the staff knows that, we know that. Hopefully he fixes that. Play calling was good at times and terrible at others. Loved the outside run game that was effective though. Good win...keep rolling.
