This is exactly what happened. If you look at the replay from the pocket, which they showed last night, Allen throws the ball before the breaks expecting the safety to follow Beeze. He didn't and your point about the wind is also correct. Lots of failures last night. Josh Allen wasn't one of them.

NFL Trade Deadline: The Bills Trade Rumors Thread
LDD replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
So just some of the BS, not ALL the BS...pleeze🤪 -
Pretty great write up, as usual, but this one had some extra cheddar! I'm sooooooooo glad that you spent a bunch of time on this defense. It was SPECTACULAR last night! The look on Mahomes face was PRICELESS. Our defense held the most highly touted offense in the NFL over the last three years in check the entirety of the night. And when they moved the ball our young gun made a huge play. Super Bowl contenders don't really contend with no defense. We have one. We're contending😀

Didn't read four pages so sorry if this has been posted. However, if you want to see how to honor Native American culture...look up what Florida State did in the late 70's with the Seminole Nation. It's the path to actually honor them, not some bumble farg white person attempt to connect millionaires playing a sport with a culture that has thousands of years of survival and history behind it.

Mahomes was very uncomfortable with our pressure. Something I noticed on multiple pressures was the fact that our linemen were disciplined enough to stop their rush if it was going to give him a lane to roll out. He's like Josh, great when he's rolling out. We kept him hemmed into an amoeba pocket all night and he was very unsettled. It was a great game plan and showed a high level of understanding about what Mahomes doesn't do well. Our bull rushes were utilized to perfection to keep the pocket closing in and our ends were highly disciplined to keep his effective rollouts to a minimun. Also, literally can't say enough about what was happening in our secondary. Times that he did get out of the pocket he simply didn't have options down the field.

Report: Natural immunity up to 13 times stronger than vaccine
LDD replied to JaCrispy's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It doesn't make sense to you that the DOD would mandate vaccines to keep a healthy fighting force? If troops can be back to work in three days instead of two weeks that doesn't make sense to you? Not dying from this disease is not the only reason to get vaccinated. Keeping a reliable healtchcare/work/protection/first responder force in place to do essential jobs is also part of it. -

RD 1, Pick 30: Greg Rousseau, Edge (Miami) Public Poll Added
LDD replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His highlight reels seem to show a really good ability to pursue the QB after he steps up in the pocket. Lots of guys seem to be able to create the edge then can't get back to make the play on the QB. Looks like this kid can. -

You can't have everything. If you don't make a sacrifice in one area, you lose something else. Kids are taking it on the chin and selfish adults DGAF. But, whatever. We get what we deserve I suppose.
-
Yes, and it's a shame. It really sucks. It is the fault of selfish people. I live in rural PA and we've been in and out of school all year based on case loads. I just had to tell my son, a junior and the starting PG on the varsity basketball team that he is quarantined for two weeks. We lost three varsity starters and two juniors this week from a squad that should be running it. I also had to tell his friend who just got back from a 14 day quarantine that he is gone again too. The virus will do what the virus will do but people not following SIMPLE mitigation efforts are wrecking the school experience for our kids. The grass isn't always greener. Going back to school in this mess puts a whole new set of factors into play.

A Few Thoughts About the Colt Playoff Game, in no particular order
LDD replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great summary... Absolutely the BEST thing to happen to the Bills was to get their first playoff win with a group of young guys in a gut wrenching game against a good team that came down to the last play. That's playoff experience. Beating a team handily does not happen often in the playoffs. The closeness of this game also highlighted Josh's talent and put him solidly at the top of the league for the position. If you're going to win the Superbowl, you need that guy. We have him. Two things on defense... 1.) Poor tackling on defense allowed multiple big plays to develop. Many of the longer runs should have been stopped much earlier. This D was not communicating and was not "flying around" like they have been. 2.) Lack of a consistent pass rusher is evident. We have to fill that hole. A team can get away with blitzing lesser teams and look good. As soon as you start blitzing a good line with a good QB, you are exposed. We have to be able to rush 4 and get pressure. It was always the key to beating Brady and it's a key to beating good teams with good offensive units. And...special teams 3.) Besides Bass, we lost on special teams. That doesn't usually happen to us, but it did yesterday. We are in a great spot. This team saw the reality of playoff football yesterday and they will now take that experience into the divisional round. Go Bills!! -
Tyler Bass was the difference (score wise) in this game! Congrats kid!!

Donald Trump permanently banned on Twitter
LDD replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
And that inequality may be happening. I don't know. If section 230 is repealed these platforms will have no recourse but to police ALL instances of the incitement of violence for which they would be liable. -

I fully expect that to happen once he becomes a private citizen. If the networks don't deem him 'newsworthy' then he won't be. They have never deemed me 'newsworthy' and my rights aren't being infringed. -

There was never an expectation of free speech in this country that you could say whatever you wanted to say when you utilize public forms of communication. The FCC has regulated the airwaves for many years. Newspaper editors have ALWAYS screened 'letters to the editor' of their papers because they would then be 'liable' for what was printed there. Currently, section 230 places no liability on large media platforms and they are left to police themselves. Twitter is, I'm sure, a bit scared that they could be entangled with a very large investigation by the FBI into the origins and perpetrators of the coup attempt on our country that happened on January 6th. If you equate their actions with other forms of traditional media (newspapers, TV, magazines etc...) their actions are a necessary part of their responsibility. Make no mistake, the FBI is conducting a wide ranging investigation into this very serious matter. Conflating the instigator of this national tragedy, Donald Trump, with all conservative political thought is misleading and disingenuous. They have not 'silenced' conservative thought. Rather, they have silenced the instigator of a national tragedy. If this happens again it will only be worse. If Twitter had not taken steps to do this then future spilled blood would surely be on their hands. Beyond monetary implications for Twitter, I'm sure their lawyers are telling them that the FBI could come at them for being complicit in an insurrection of the US government and that people could go to jail. Donald Trump can have a news conference at any point and literally say anything he wants to say to the entire world.
