James O'Keefe. I was literally there. I was at the other side of the monument reading the wall with the Medal of Honor winners. He had the kids on video, they didn't know who he was. Not sure how the IRS gets abolished and we still have a military. Tax reformation good...love the under 200k bit...deregulation is a slippery slope, tried that in the post depression, WWII era manufacturing boom and it resulted in burning rivers and love canals so I'm not a fan there. I wouldn't immediately characterize someone who voted for Trump as MAGA. To me, to be MAGA there is a level of fandom and unabashed loyalty to the movement. I know lots of people who held their noses and voted for Trump but that wouldn't tell anyone that.

SOME Maga are trailer trash just like some woke liberals are trash...I personally know many really, really good people who are MAGA. I can't grasp what they connect to with Donald, but I don't hate them because of it...some of them I love dearly. A fair conversation goes a long way most of the time.

This is the problem. We will certainly survive. However, Americans were never "asked" to sacrifice. This is where Donald will run into problems. I love the idea of moving manufacturing back and having America produce things for America and Americans. I try to live my life that way. Most of America does not. Fairness? Ok...well if a country has a large military it's for a reason and it gets used. We have that and we use it. I think "fairness" is a weak argument by Donald. The second part of your statement I agree with, BUT, the American population has to agree to that, which means paying WAAAAYY more for goods. Personally, I'm not opposed to that. I go out of my way to purchase goods, food and services that are centered in about a 200 mile radius of where I live. I will not shop at Walmart or the other big boxes but of course I cannot get everything because our economy has welcomed cheap crap. I'm not opposed to the idea, I think Trump is going about it in an idiotic manner. His forcefeeding of this economic change is going over like a lead balloon. There are ways to do it that don't bankrupt people.
