  1. CAUTION**** The above comments seem to be actual respectful political dialogue. This site may have been hacked and you may be in danger!!
  2. It's a violent and cruel world. Arming Ukraine to stop the aggressive, dangerous and criminal regime that runs Russia is an absolute necessity. Otherwise, Ukraine's women and children would be passed out to the oligarchs for sale, their valuable resources usurped and the country defiled. Putin would have a stranglehold on Europe's energy market and would be rattling the stability of NATO. It's hard to imagine a spoiled America, so gutless in it's approach to right and wrong in the world, that would not help Ukraine defend itself against an aggressor such as Vladimir Putin. You wanna live with soft hands and softer bellies under the umbrella of the the greatest military empire the world has ever seen?? This is a small price to pay.
  3. Checking his knee...my assumption is that ankle can be played on...sprained knee means minor tear which could become worse
  4. Just curious about your perspective on flu vaccines.
  5. As a counter to the ESPN pundits...all the beer guzzling fools in my basement that were talking about it this weekend are picking THE BILLS!!! Should carry about as much credence as the ESPN crew.
  6. POST MORE PICS OF YOUR GFs ON YOUR INSTA ACCOUNTS!! PLEASE!
  7. hahaha...yup...this isn't the scenario you're looking for...it should be something like..."Bills get to Super Bowl, BUT, you have to 'spoon with your least favorite sister-in-law for a week of nights'" OR..."you have to spend eternity folding two year old girl clothes"...ya know, a real challenge. A chance to maim and embarrass Brady??? No brainer!
  8. Shouldn't there actually be bi-partisan agreement that Russia needs put in its place and the Ukranian people should have access to weapons to defend themselves?
  9. This looks like some weird Dolphins propaganda with the orange and aqua...I hate it!
  10. To me the biggest issue with youth sports of all types is honesty by the adults in the room. 1.) Honesty concerning what the real goal of the sport is. Is the goal to WIN, WIN, WIN or is the goal to build stronger, healthier, more well adjusted young adults? 2.) Honesty concerning the talent level one is dealing with. Very, very, very few young athletes go on to play at a higher level. Even fewer of them receive some type of monetary consideration for their athletic talents. Considering this, be honest about the approach to the sport. 3.) Honesty concerning the level of risk a young person is exposed to. Parents and coaches who expose/pressure young athletes to hide injuries or play through injuries that may affect their long term health are despicable IMO. This happens ALL THE TIME. Also, building a culture that protects and fosters those behaviors is completely out of line with reality if one to to be honest about the first two ideas above. 4.) Honesty about one's own ego as a parent and a coach. These things can take over and consume young athletes and it's sad when it does. I've taught and coached two sports for over twenty years. I try every day to be honest. I'm a baseball and basketball coach but my son played football until the middle of his high school career. I always supported him but it certainly made me nervous. He called it after his ninth grade year of being the practice squad running back for the varsity to beat on. He realized the beating his body was taking and he wanted to concentrate on his other two sports. A student can play football, the same as any other sport, and never be hurt. A student can also choose to play football in a culture where concussions don't happen, playing through neck and back issues is common, and the insistence on winning puts young adults in a "sacrificial" position. Most kids who play football hard, the right way, get at least mild concussions every game...no doubt in my mind. Football is a great sport when it is led and coached by men who care about their players and are honest with themselves about what it is they are trying to achieve. We saw McDermott's honesty with his men on display Monday night. That should be an invaluable lesson for all football coaches who seek to lead young men.
  11. Thank you for your detailed response.
  12. Does this make sense? Can anyone with knowledge of these procedures weigh in on this?
  13. Yes, next. I called it an "aspiring" democracy
  14. So, what's the answer here if it's apparently not to support Ukraine in a proxy war against an invading nation controlled by a dictatorial murderer? I understand the idea of brokering a peace but that has to start with at least semi-willing participants and Russia has zero interest in that. The Ukranians currently do not either considering the fact that the Russians have committed atrocious war crimes and are losing the battlefield daily. Lots of conspiracies being thrown around here about a former actor who became a war time president. Clearly the Ukranian government isn't perfect but Russia and its ally Iran are unequivocally the enemy of our country. Why would we not help an aspiring European democracy defend their homeland? The overwhelming majority of a divided congress is together on this. Isn't that something?
  15. If they bake a big cake for an obese couple are they complicit in the sin of gluttony??
  16. It seems apparent to me that the only sin in the bible is that of being gay. Just imagine if there were actually other sins in the bible and religious businesses refused offering services or support to other "apparent" sinners...that would be a mess🙄 What if the bible had something called, eh, I don't know, THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS ( lust, gluttony, greed, laziness, wrath, envy, pride) and made a big point out of how those sins really helped evil flourish in the world. Nobody would be able to do a darn thing anywhere for the exchange of goods or services. Good thing NO OTHER sins exist anywhere in the bible but that of the errant seed dropper or whatever.
  17. "Ukraine never publicly acknowledges responsibility for attacks inside Russia. Asked about the strikes, Defence Minister Oleskiy Reznikov repeated a longstanding joke blaming carelessness with cigarettes. 'Very often Russians smoke in places where it's forbidden to smoke,' he said." - Reuters 🚬
  18. Well, the NFL has created their own monster. It is SO much more than a game. If there is anything that even remotely appears to be susceptible to criticism, IT WILL BE CRITICIZED. This is not some beer league adventure, there are billions of dollars now riding on this enterprise and with the embrace of gambling by the NFL and the country, it's only going to get worse. IMO...the refs should have ZERO contact with the players at any point, especially off the field. Refs and players hanging out with a Fan Duel rep at a golf match?? Yeah, good idea.
  19. Ummmmm...Pat friggin Freiermuth??? Negative...
  20. I'm pretty sure his proof is every conflict in the history of the world that distributed weapons. Also, his proof may be gun violence in the United States where guns get into the wrong hands simply because there are so many of them. It will undoubtedly occur in the Ukraine war. The hope is to keep it to a minimum.
  21. I very much believe this. Every elite QB needs a guy to depend on, with Hill gone, if Kelce gets dinged Mahomes won't have that receiver.
  22. Catch 22... Ukraine thinks they can win and they're royally pi$$ed because of the Russian atrocities. They won't stop fighting, so we have two options: weapons or no weapons. We choose weapons because we are America and we do that pretty well and we'll run this pony till it can't run no more as long as it's hurting Putin who has put himself firmly in a bad spot. If we chose no weapons then Russia would have enough of a victory that they could propagandize it while they put further economic pressure on Europe along with terrorizing, killing, and raping Ukranian citizens to an even greater extent. There's no perfect response by us right now and there's no avenue for peace when you have an aggressive country invading a neutral one and committing atrocities and destroying its infrastructure. Ukranians have EVERYTHING to fight for right now.
  23. Holy F Margie...he's free to speak them and he did. The effect of his words did damage and a court decided that it did. That's also MURICA! He's not going to jail...you're only "Free without repercussion" if you speak the "TRUTH" as established in the Zenger trial many moons ago. All this decision did is establish that there is indeed a reality. It's the same one Alex Jones and the families of the dead kids live in. At least we have that...still.
  24. Maybe you were but our intelligence community had this one nailed. The Ukranian citizens barely believed it was going to happen. Our intel community was jumping up and down about it in the months leading up. A coalition would have been different than NATO in what way? Should NATO have made a more specific threat to Putin?
  25. I've never heard that one. Please explain.
