Could even both be there well into the second … Joe Marino mentioned that Hairston has an off field allegation from his early college days that might put some teams off him …

well … Im hoping that if they pick someone in the first or second then they won’t take long to be the starter … particularly with the way things stand on the roster at the moment with the depth … Douglas was terrible last year … I dont really want him back either .., Tre White and even Benford have been able to make the leap to starters as rookies so it’s not an impossible task

Why is Bishop being a rookie an excuse ? He was a second round pick …I dont think it’s unreasonable to expect that he would be a starter by the time they got to the playoffs…The Chiefs have started a few rookies against us in playoff games over the years …

If he makes the team he will be playing real time (not mop up) at some stage of the season, given inevitable injuries that our guys on D regularly get and that there is only 4 guy at the position …and considering his salary is fully guaranteed it’s likely he will be making the team …

i would even be happy if he just develops into an adequate starter or even the Safety 3 role in 2026 … I suspect that Washington might have kept him on a minimum deal if he was giving off Hyde/Poyer vibes ..
