  1. I prefer to think of him as a “better Davis”…. I could see some upside in his game the next two years playing with JA … edit…. I see you just said the same thing in the post before 😂👍
  2. Or he doesn’t want to do it .. or the other teams don’t want to trade down that far or they just prefer to take Nabors or Odunze themselves … Not as much fun to dream otherwise though … we’ll know in 11 days of dreams come true
  3. he is suggesting that something is possible … like no kidding Sherlock 😂
  4. I dunno… he is just saying it’s possible .. not that he has actually heard anything about it happening
  5. Johnny started the off season as a solid mid teens Round 1 pick.. now he is the end of Round 1 guy that the “experts” try to squeeze in when they do Round 1 only mocks … The Kiper Belt with Field of Dreams Yates have him at 49 on their latest … but they have a bet each way and says they expect a team to still take him in Round 1… lols all round there … sometimes they pick with what they expect teams to do … and others it’s their opinions …
  6. Seems to be falling in some mocks… yeah I know … mocks right … but starting to wonder if there is something negative out there ?
  7. Throw in 60 and keep 128 and the Seahawks may even consider this … Not for me personally
  8. Hey ..: if they can’t get him for a fourth - don’t do it If he wants more money - don’t do it But the Broncos might want to realise that they are trying to trade an above average, not great 28 yr old WR on the eve of one of the deepest WR drafts of all time..
  9. 2nd? I’m proposing to spend no more than a 4th which should get it done .. Normally Beane spends his 4ths moving up 2 spots when he gets anxious waiting for his turn
  10. Ok … rot in Denver then .. good luck getting a new deal in two years time with what ever QB ends up throwing to you Its not like he is currently underpaid for his production
  11. He can come here and earn a new deal… in the meantime play out the final two years on the old deal 2nd? No way … 4th would get it done
  12. We aren’t the Chiefs … we are tying to beat them… unsuccessfully so far in the Playoffs
  13. Ok …interesting ….that could be helpful for getting some info on some players at those schools … Do you have any knowledge about Garret Greenfield from South Dakota State? Possible mid Day 3 pick for the Bills maybe?
  14. No one here knows anything …. But a couple of people have some very strong opinions…
  15. Well… I have got a different strategy as I have outlined already in the thread .. I don’t think we are as far apart as you might think… I want 2 WR and a DE in the top 60-70 … I don’t see taking a DE in the third as a large as an investment as you do obviously… It’s probably a moot point anyway as I see Kneeland being talked up now by the likes of Kiper and Brugler who have got him going in the Top 50 … too rich for my blood
  16. The Bills have had him in for a Top 30 visit so they must have some interest in him … so are you saying they view him as a Day 3 option? I don’t see him lasting that long …and I am suggesting picking Kneeland with their third pick in the third round … which will require some moving around the board considering that pick doesn’t exist yet …whether this is considered a reach or not is opinion at this stage … we will see how the draft and the player subsequently turns out … Hoping that Miller improves concerns me as a strategy …he is 35 and looked terrible last year … he is not even close to being 50 percent of his pre injury level ,,,.but again as I have mentioned … I’m sure they have better information on his progress If there is any doubt about Miller ,,, they need a better strategy then picking a leftover on Day 3..
  17. It might bring down the regime if Josh starts complaining to Pegs about McD and Beane wasting his prime years ..
  18. Well.. when they tried to pick one giving up multiple firsts it was one of the biggest disasters we have seen in 20 years .. Maybe they should be sticking with what they have based on that effort
  19. It’s a two way street … teams don’t necessarily want to move from the Top 10 to 28… or they want more than Beane is prepared to give up
  20. yes .. I can do the maths … Im not saying they aren’t getting value for the move . I don’t think either of us are going to know Beane plans or how they value these guys… I can only offer my opinions and moving up for Thomas expending more draft capital than a fourth is not my preferred option …after comparing him to the 5th and 6th guys who are likely available at the original pick
  21. I think it’s a real possibility that Kneeland could be on their list.. could see him maybe lasting to early/mid third … so would be great if he was the third pick and not the second at that point in the draft
  22. I agree that 60 isn’t the best spot this year … but I don’t see how trading down helps … they should be looking at trading up and getting another top prospect in this draft … In relation to the first pick …If Brian Thomas costs more than a fourth to move up for ( which means 2-3 spots ) than move on to the next guy …
