  1. Good one - I hate listening to them. Criqui with his mistakes, Tasker trying too hard not to sound like he played for the Bills.
  2. As I recall it was a passing mention in an article about something else. It was not the main point of the story. Let's also remember that TD spent a first round pick on JP before he ever lined up against any NFL defense. My point is, the Bills brain trust obviously like JP and his practice work against their D only validates that. Combine their hopes for JP + his work against our D + Drew's subpar play, and it adds up to the decision that looks to be coming soon.
  3. Look, if Drew's QB rating at the end of the year put him at around #25 or so in the league, why not go with Losman? Surely there's a lot more upside to JP than another year with Drew.
  4. I'm a bit disappointed with his corner contain. I think he gets beat too much around the corner.
  5. Am I the only one who remembers reading this toward the end of the season? If true, shredding the #2 defense, even in practice, must have been enough to give TD reason to elevate JP into the #1 role. It would have been enough for me.
  6. I've been suffering from gout and I read yesterday that yogurt was a good food to help treat that. So I will be eating a lot of yogurt.
  7. I agree. Anyone smart that wants Bledsoe (an oxymoron right there!) will play the poker game of waiting until he gets cut. Let's face it, if you wait you only have to outbid 1 or 2 teams at the most.
  8. You know what that means. Ding, ding, ding, it's all over! Thanks for the ignore tip.
  9. Sue, just curious, were you an only child?
  10. Like the guy that bashed JP, I have a system for rating posters on this board: GREEN - the poster appears to be a decent person, meaning no harm to anyone, and I enjoy reading their opinions. They do not seek celebrity status on the board, just enjoy posting their honest opinions. YELLOW - I tend to agree with them half the time, but even when I don't agree there is usually some validity to what they say. They do tend to come up with the occasional vulgar or negative or arrogant, self-serving post. RED - they consistently get under my skin with their stupidity or attitude. They are ME-FIRST people who seek to become the subject of board discussion (i.e., ICE). Unfortunately I have Sue down as being in the RED category. Suffice it to say that her self-absorption is palpable with each and every post, and that repulses me.
  11. I agree 100%. We have set the bar too low for this exceptional talent. He can play better.
  12. I'm not going to answer this question. I think if TD has his way, Drew will agree to stay as the #2.
  13. I stil think he'll stay here as a backup. That would be best for the Bills.
  14. The beauty of dollar cost averaging. When the price of your stocks goes down, and you continue to invest the same amount of $$ in it, you actually are buying more of the same stock at a better price. Then when the price goes up again, your stock value has escalated considerably.
  15. Walmart sucks, so do unions. The WNY ecomony is the poster child of strong unions and a weak economy. Coincidence? I think not.
  16. Show me a link where they said that. Please.
  17. Other than hatred for Drew, why do people feel he wouldn't be a good backup? I think he would. Drew has to decide if he wants to move his family again just for 1 more last shot at glory. I think he will either retire or stay as a backup & try to compete for the #1 job.
  18. Or will he return next season as the highest paid Bills cheerleader?
  19. I like the McNair option if we could afford him. TD does not shy away from injured players (i.e., McGahee).
  20. I disagree. Several of his drops were drive killers. This from a "stud" WR. We are setting the bar too low for a guy with this much talent!! We must get more from Moulds in order to go anywhere. I for one am tired of watching other teams in the playoffs.
  21. I think TD learned that you can't have only 1 go-to receiver in a viable offense. Thus the Lee Evans pick at a time when the obvious move would have been to draft an OL.
  22. Jim WAS the man but he was never known as a deep thinker. He was a great QB but why WNY'ers continue hang on his every word is beyond me. I could care less what he has to say abhout anything, let alone JP.
  23. TD was not going to make the same mistake he made when he traded Peerless. He was trying to keep the guy as an offensive anchor. But I dispute that Moulds' dropsies were due to poor throws. Some were, but overall Moulds had many games were he had inexcuseable drops. He was very inconsistent and the bottom line is we need him to be dominant to get deep into the playoffs.
  24. I seriously think it means next to nothing. Kelly used to get shown all the time by ESPN being sacked by Joe Klecko. And that meant........next to nothing.
  25. 700 million people in the Middle East couldn't be wrong, could they?
