If Saban is so desperate he would fill a position as CRITICAL as OC with a guy having absolutely NO coaching credentials whatsoever, the situation is worse in Miami than we thought. Interviewing is one thing but I would be shocked if he actually GOT the job.

I think TD will take a long hard look. McNair's arm and experience will make him an irresistable candidate to be the guy to plug in at QB next year. The price tag could be an issue though.

What IS the fascination with this guy? Sure he (along with an excellent supporting cast) took us to 4 SB's but the guy was dumb as rocks and something less than a character guy. Every time Kelly goes on TV or radio we get a thread here. Who the heck cares what this guy says or does? Oh, and where can I send my check for Crabbe's research? As if Jim needs my $20. Suckers!

I don't think you get rid of him. His teams have been remarkably consistent in getting there. When you hang around at the top level long enough, eventually you get through the door. I call it the Jim Boeheim theory. Over the last 14 years, who's level of success would you rather have - the Steelers' or the Bills'? I'd take the Steelers' consistency as a franchise over ours, anyday.

If it's installed correctly, wind is not a problem. Heavy rains are, and you may need to brush snow buildup of it occasionally. When I lived in a snow climate, I installed mine on a post about 3' off the ground so I could brush the snow off withour having to climb a ladder in the middle of a snowstorm. Of course I lived on 7 acres so mounting it close to the ground was an option for me.

I like the UT bumper stickers you see down here that say "Feelin horny". Always makes me smile for some reason. Hook 'em horns.
