  1. JP will be just fine. What espn or anybody else says is irrelevant.
  2. We've just had two head coaches from outside the box and look where we are. I'd prefer to stay in the box next time.
  3. Other MM player-management accomplishments: - Has converted Mike Williams from a decent RT to a sideline observer who has no clue what position he's supposed to play. - Told Sam Adams "we have a better chance to win without you" and benches him. MM's most significant contribution: - Baffling play calling and amateur people skills are going to solidify in RW's mind that TD has swung and missed badly 2X with his head coaching selections. MM will ultimately prove to be the demise of the Donahoe era in Buffalo.
  4. No, but I'd love to know that as well.
  5. Marriucci would be an interesting possibility. At least he has experience and has won before.
  6. MM has lost the team. Pure and simple.
  7. Ever heard of something called the NFL salary cap?
  8. That's what the blowup was about. Clements took exception to what he thought was an implication made by a reporter that Clements was scared to cover Chambers on that play.
  9. MM tells Sam Adams before last week that he thought we had a better chance to win without him, then benches Moulds inexplicably today. When asked in the press conference to explain, he said "that's between Eric and I". MM is more obsessed with his power than he is winning games. And his record shows he's being rather successful in this regard.
  10. I thought EM and broadcasters were the only ones who cared about the streak. I sure didn't. By the way, what is was the team's won-loss record during that sacred streak?
  11. I didn't see an option for coaching incompetence. Why, exactly, was he moved from RT?
  12. I would take Vermiel or Herm over what we have now.
  13. Agree 100%. Yet another player getting short-changed by Mularkey's constant tinkering. Put him at one position (along with Mike Williams) and let him play. Stop overcoaching these guys MM.
  14. I stopped reading at the word "Salisbury".
  15. Huh? With voice amplification, headset to helmet communication, or even another coach by his side, this is a non-issue.
  16. Can you elaborate please? Are you saying the ESPN page says we rank 27th in attendance?
  17. How can Mort say definitively that there are NO rumors about TD? Does he have listening devices everywhere? That kind of absolute statement by Mort confirms he's a TD apologist. Now if he had said, "none that I'm aware of", it might have more credibility.
  18. I think by the end of the game, you will be tired of hearing about Julius Peppers.
  19. Panthers 17 Bills 6 And PLEASE let's be done with the talk of a playoff run.
  20. If we spend our 1st rounder on a MLB, I'll slit my throat.
  21. Where does this "word" come from?
  22. I am very frustrated by MM's handling of the OL - he appears to be making it up as he goes and his tinkering is killing this team. See if you can follow this and explain it to me: 1) MM starts MW at RT to start the year. This after weeks and weeks of training camp during which he can evaluate everything he has on the roster. 2) MW gets hurt and Peters has a decent game at RT. ONE decent game. 3) MW becomes healthy enough to play, but instead of putting him back at RT, he switches him to LG. MW, not ready to play the position on 1 week's notice, flops and gets sent to the bench. (MM obviously thought MW was better than Bennie, but apparently not better than Peters.) It takes 1 half of football to prove MM wrong, so he promptly inserts Bennie back at LG just in time for JP to pull out the game. 4) Peters is installed at the RT position again the next week, and struggles mightily. While a healthy MW sits on the bench. 5) When asked to comment on the OL, MM says (paraphrasing here) I think they are doing OK. Remember, he says, they have not had a lot of time to play together. Whose fault is this, Mike? Sweet lord. Oh, and his lack of ability to publicly endorse either of his QBs is a disgrace. No wonder our offense is in shambles. I think this guy is clueless.
  23. Matt Millen - The NFL's version of Fred Flintstone.
