  1. Jay Glazer (Fox Sports) was reporting yesterday that Lito was in TB and that TB was the frontrunner. This is no surprise.
  2. Let's face it - Marv is better suited to the Bonadio gig than he was his last job.
  3. If you trade JP, who is your backup QB? You do know that backup QB's play an awful lot in this league, right?
  4. It's a tiny photo in a meaningless, pre-draft space-filler article in a second rate sports mag. Nothing more. Get over it.
  5. Everything Donahoe related is gone? When did they get rid of Peters, Moorman, Lindell, Parrish, Evans and the ugly unis?
  6. Exactly. A new stadium is only important to the Buffalo franchise (or any franchise) to the extent that it allows the owner to massively increase (ticket) revenues. Whereas in other, healthier markets a new stadium with premium seating and more boxes does help to increase revenues significantly for an owner, a new stadium in Buffalo does nothing to increase the pool of wealthy season ticket holders or corporate suite holders. What good are lots of new expensive seats if you don't have the rich butts sitting in them? This is why Ralph is making lots of noise trying to tap the Toronto market to get his revenue, and making ZERO noise about getting a new stadium. Whether you like it or not, Toronto is the last and only hope for the Bills to grow their revenues.
  7. I am no Trent fan by any means (yet), but I am interested to see this offense with EITHER QB being able to audible at the line like the rest of the league. But of course any gains made by audibles may be offset over the course of a full season by us taking the plunge YET AGAIN with a first time OC. I hate watching an offense that is giving its coaches on-the-job training.
  8. Has anyone else ever wondered why they call them "over the counter" drugs when you can get them IN FRONT of the counter? It should be, "in front of the counter" drugs as opposed to "behind the counter" drugs. AHHHHHH I've always wanted to get that off my chest. Thanks Mario.
  9. SB 25 was the toughest. The replay was on NFL Network yesterday and I still could not watch it. Left the TV for a few hours, came back just to see if the game was still on, and when my TV picture came on, Reich was in his holding stance and Norwood was backing up to get ready for the 47 yarder. I do have to say though, I watched the kick in the bizzarre hope that it would go through this time. That thing never had a chance - it started right and just stayed there.
  10. I respect the English language more than most on this board, but I don't see how a WR who is skilled in the language arts helps us on the football field. What we need is a big, fluid WR.
  11. Yea, he really cleaned up in that Bowl game against Alcorn State.
  12. Losman is staying. And that's a good thing.
  13. You're right - what is taking so long? These $50-60 million deals should take no more than what, a day or two?
  14. Marv Levy's greatest legacy as GM of the Bills: Robert Royal Thanks Marv!
  15. After reading this thread, my first thought was that if all posters were required to have a photo of THEMSELVES next to their posts, maybe they wouldn't write half the crap they do. Then, I remembered how many people make fools of themselves IN PERSON at RWS tailgate parties. So I guess the self-portrait idea wouldn't make any difference.
  16. Elway's desire? Elway's desire? That is evident in Losman, but how has that EVER been demonstrated by Edwards?
  17. If the Bills' brain trust shares your view that #3 is the most applicable, they had a funny way of showing it - going defense in the FA period and just goofing around with the WR's they brought in.
  18. So if he earns a starting spot in a bottom-tier defense he was a good pick? Our standards are far too low.
  19. If Democrats in this country are all excited about putting Hillary or Obama in the White House, then, suddenly trusting the Bills' front office because of a few mediocre weeks of offseason moves doesn't seem odd at all to me.
  20. Didn't George Costanza work for him at Corvelay Industries? Or was it Vandelay Industries?
  21. Thanks to the mods for doing the thankless. The downtime makes us all realize that access to TBD is not a God-given right. Do you take contributions and if so, where do I send it?
  22. I was excited to hear this report until Marshall Faulk opened his mouth - as soon as he proclaimed our need for a left tackle it was all over. I actually missed some Fox Business Network programming because of this!!?? At least Rich Eisen deserves some credit for calling out Faulk on his ridiculous preseason prediction that the Bills would be lucky to win 3 games last year.
  23. I think if there was a genuine expectation of picking this guy, they would have met with him more quietly. They know this kind of visit will be widely reported so my interpretation is this is just sending out misinformation about who they will pick at #12.
