For all we know now, Nate may have peaked when he was with the Bills - whether he did or not is TOTALLY irrelevant. At that moment in time, with no reason to think Clements would soon decline, the Bills were not willing to lay out huge dollars for a proven mid-career starter. Given that, I don't see Ralph making a play for Favre, a high dollar guy at the very END of his career.

So the owner who wouldn't pay Nate Clements going into his prime, would (over)pay to get Favre in his last years? That is not even remotely in keeping with this owner's M.O.

Another example of how faulty this is (number of starters) as a measuring stick for the quality of a team's drafts. Gee, the Bills draft lots of starters and the Patriots don't - I wonder why? Maybe because the current Patriots' current on-the-field product is superior to that of the Bills? Wouldn't you agree that over the last 5 years, if you were a draftee for the Bills your chances of starting right away would be much higher than if you were drafted by the Pats?

I'm not exactly sure how StubHub works, maybe they have agreements in place with some season ticket holders? Anyway, they have a guarantee that says your seats will be better than or equal to what you purchased, so we'll see. Sounds like StubHub has a good rep. I was a season tix holder for about 12 years before moving away - I forgot that the tix come in July.

I bought some prime seats for the opener through StubHub. I got an email the other day from StubHub stating: "Your order is confirmed. Since tickets for this event have not yet been printed and distributed, they will be shipped to you as soon as the seller receives them. Rest assured, you have our FanProtect Guarantee that your tickets will arrive in time for the event!" Were season tickets printed and distributed yet? And do any of you have experience with StubHub? Are they OK? Thanks! Initially I tried to get tickets through TSW, but I was too impatient and had to lock up those babies ASAP!

"Proud" doesn't really describe it for me. The Bills and my Buffalo roots are a part of me like my fingerprints. I couldn't drop them if I tried.

Everything mentioned above. But most of all, opening weekend I'm flying in with my 9 year old son so he can go to his first Bills game ever, and mine in about 6 years. Doesn't get any better than that!

Our offensive coordinator situation may not be a weakness, but in my mind it's a definite question mark. Most likely Schonert is an upgrade in comparison to Fairchild, but really that's not saying much. Asking a rookie signal caller who (to my knowledge) has never called plays under fire, to go against experienced D coordinators is something that bears watching going into this season.

Pretty sweet and not a bad place to give my little dude (9 yr. old) his first Bills experience - hopefully the folks there will be well behaved. OK here's the deal: My son was born in Bflo but we have been living in TX due to my job since he was 4. Now that I can afford it, I want to start an annual tradition with him, going to the opener in the Ralph. This annual trip will include stops at LaNova, Mike's subs, Ted's and of course Mighty Taco. A full cultural experience (foodwise at least) for a kid who I have deprived. I was a season ticket holder for 13 years before I left (former section C2 then Section 135), and my son has never been to a Bills game although I have raised him to be a fan and we watch faithfully via Sunday Ticket. I need to take him for the ride down Southwestern Blvd. to experience the anticipation when we see the light standards and then pulling in the lot for tailgating and pregame activities with you nuts. If any of you are interested in selling first level 25 yd. line or better tix for the opener, let me know. We all know that Tim used to close his show on playoff & SB Sundays with his "Go Bills!" cry. And the last chapter of "Big Russ" devoted to what the Bills mean to the City of Buffalo. For those of you like me who had to seek our fortunes elsewhere to support our families, what do you do to show off your Buffalo roots to your non-Bflo friends and coworkers? Here are some of mine: - Proudly display my Bills football & etched glass buffalo in my office - Talk up the Bills every Friday during the season - Mourn/gloat on Mondays in the fall - WORK HARDER than everybody else and and show off my blue collar Bflo roots - Make SURE my kids' favorite team is the Bills by decking out kids room with all Bills gear - Mandating that all office subordinates install TBD as their home page on their browsers (just kidding) And you?
