I think there is a VERY good chance this is our year. But I've also felt that way the last 3. And it could have been. But we fell short. If we don't at least make the Super Bowl, it's time for new leadership.

You could see the Diggs and Davis departures coming a mile away — and they didn’t prepare for it. Trading back to take a slow WR in the 2nd ain’t it. Meanwhile, they had no trouble trading up this year for defense. Personally, I think Sean’s been put on notice by the owner who wanted Mahomes and has watched the defense decline since Leslie left. Not a wild take at all.

They missed on Kincaid. They missed on Coleman. They were caught unprepared when Diggs departed. Sean is tired of his D not being at the level of Leslie and wants to secure a DC job next year if he fails to make the Super Bowl again.

While you're at it, bring back Leslie. This D hasn't been as good since he was pushed out.

I think you're off by a year....2021 (Leslie #1 ranked DVOA) was the healthy year. 2022 (Leslie #2 ranked DVOA) and 2023 (Sean #12 ranked DVOA) were the heavy injury years. But even in 2022, Leslie Frazier’s #2 ranked D went 13-3 missing the following players.... Sean has yet to field a defense that's matched what Leslie Frazier delivered in 2021 and 2022, when much of that staff was in their 4th or 5th year together. Aside from Babich, it's been a complete overhaul — Sean keeps tinkering hoping to get back to what he had with Leslie.

Question for all: If Andy Reid was our HC, would Buffalo have a Super Bowl by now? My answer: Probably 2, if not 3.
