  1. Another year another starting MLB who can’t shed blocks 🤮
  2. Wish we signed Bobby Wagner. 1 year 7M is a great deal for the Sea Chickens
  3. Go back and watch how Josh injured his elbow against the Jets last year. I’ll play spoiler, Q-berry blew his protection from the right side. Every position on the OL is important because they protect the only irreplaceable player on the team.
  4. Out of the gate, we are worse at DE. Until Von is back on the field it will remain that way. RT is still a major weakness until proven otherwise. All other positions are pretty solid.
  5. Based on BB’s comments about Dalton playing the “Big Slot”, I expect 3 TEs on the roster. Possibly 4 if they decide FB isn’t in the plans. 🤷‍♂️
  6. No, he was on Chippewa coming from Applebee’s.
  7. After the FA additions and the Draft, I’m more comfortable with G than I am at RT. The #2 WR and RT are the weakest links on the team IMO.
  8. Not sure how 3 drafts ago sounds like the last draft to you. BTW 3 drafts ago was 2 years ago…lol.
  9. Except they wasted an early second round pick on said player only 3 drafts ago.
  10. Good point and solid reason to suspect he will not improve from his awful showing last year. Good chance this will go down as one the worst trades and the worst contracts in NFL history.
  11. Passing a reading comprehension exam should be a posting requirement. 🤷‍♂️ With what QBs?
  12. How about last year Mr. snarky pants? He looked completely lost with a top 5 OL, amazing backfield and decent WRs. If his entire contract wasn’t guaranteed and the Browns didn’t give up a kings ransom to acquire him, do you still think he would be employed? I could be wrong, but I think not.
  13. So why is Watson still on the roster?
  14. Everything you heard about Josh Allen, you heard about EJ Manuel.
  15. Possibly, you should start a thread about it.
  16. I wouldn’t consider it a sure thing with a 10M pre and 4.5M post June 1 cap hit.
  17. Williams, Mosley and Rodgers now account for a roughly $150M cap hit in 2024 which puts the Jets ~$80M over the cap.
  18. Hamlin is a massive question mark. Tough to come back emotionally from something catastrophic like that.
  19. This is likely Morse and Hines last year on the team. Minimal cap savings this year but $13M in 2024. Murray is signed for the vet min, not sure where the $3.5M is coming from. If he’s cut, it has nothing to do with his cap charge. If I had to guess on player cuts, none of these guys would be on my list. This article is not only unrealistic, it is completely void of fact. Based on your comments, the article didn’t pass your smell test, so why create a thread referencing it?
  20. It’s never the best option for any WR to play for a bottom 5 QB regardless of how much respect they have for the HC.
  21. Before Gore, it was Tolbert…rinse and repeat.
  22. The Jets went all in on a 2-3 year window by gambling on an 39 year old QB with questionable leadership skills. They have the biggest expectation burden IMO. If they don’t win the division or make a deep playoff run, good chance Saleh is looking for for another job in 2025/2026.
  23. Restructure isn’t an extension so it does not necessarily prolong anything. It makes his contract less tradable which might guarantee his stay in Buffalo.
  24. Considering we likely won’t be adding any big name FAs, I’d rather take the comp picks for our own losses. Focus on the bargain bin FAs available later in the period.
