  1. Cheaper and provided a red zone target.
  2. So we have 6 receivers on the roster all 6’ 1” or under. In fact we only have two receivers over 6’ 1” and that Shavers and the 7th round rookie. This is going to be fun to watch…aim small miss small Josh.
  3. Reading comprehension man…never said I want to see Ed cut. Simply saying the Bills have the flexibility to do so if they want. Beane is not afraid to take on dead cap, the last two years are prime examples of that.
  4. Agree, but I think they have the flexibility to bail in 2026 if his play tapers off in 25.
  5. More deep research conducted before making and well thought out post. Maybe check the post June 1 cut/trade before posting definitive nonsense? If you took two seconds to look… $9.2M hit the next 3 years with savings of 2M, 15M, 16M. Obviously optimal, but Beane has proven he’s willing take on large cap hits to shed players he no longer wants.
  6. Yes, I’m looking forward to more of your well thought out and thorough posts based on super in depth research 😂
  7. 👏🏿 Bravo, that’s a nice and thorough review of FA cap space and draft capital spent on offense vs defense. The focus on the # of picks spent overall as the delineating factor was well thought out. I’m wrong, we’ve obviously prioritized offense over defense the last 7 years because the # of picks spent on offense equal that of the defense…you win buddy. 😂
  8. All expected when you have the best QB in the NFL leading your team. Regular season success has never been a gauge in determining greatness. Being strategically dominated by the same team in the postseason for 4 of the past 5 seasons is not greatness.
  9. It seems like a good idea, until you realize it hasn’t worked for 7 straight years.
  10. We keep losing to the Chiefs because they have better coaches across the board. It’s logical to say we score enough points to be able to beat the Chiefs, the offense isn’t the problem. But when you have greatly prioritized defense the last 7 years with the same net result, maybe it’s time to try something different
  11. I believe the Bills model is bad, because we have the best QB in football and can’t beat the 2nd best QB in football even when he plays lights out. This is after the Bills have vastly and in-proportionally invested in the defense for the last 6+ years. Hoping Josh can continue to put up 30+ point a game with minimal WR talent around him is not a recipe for sustained success.
  12. Palmer isn’t replacing Cooper, they are completely two different types of WR. Could Palmer conditionally fill the X role, sure, but I would assume that’s not where he will primarily line up. If Shavers has to play any meaningful minutes, our team is in a world of hurt. The way I see it, we don’t have a traditional X type WR, unless the plan is to put Coleman there. I hope that is not the case…but not many options because the WR room is full of slot and Z’s.
  13. Wrong!! We’re going to be drafting 32 and we are only drafting WR in the 1st round if we have a new GM.
  14. Mods, my mommy and daddy told me I’m more important than everyone else, so can we relegate all threads that I don’t agree with to a single thread?
  15. Reality is this team has prioritized defense heavily during FA and the draft for the last 5-7 years. The end result has remained constant, Josh plays out of his mind in the playoffs and the defense plays like dog poo against teams with a passing attack. Beane and McD are trying the same thing over and over and are netting the same result, which I personally find frustrating. Either change the defensive scheme or prioritize offense to hope to outscore the Chiefs, Bengals, Ravens in the playoffs.
  16. I have thought he would be a guy to keep an eye on. Beane loves having a long in the tooth vet at WR on the roster. Allen is only 1 year removed 2023-2024 from having a monster season with the Bolts.
  17. I gave this draft a C and a B because the Bills drafted 18 CBs
  18. Yesssss, we just got the 30th best WR in the draft.
  19. Who’s the next CB we’re drafting?
  20. There’s still plenty of CBs left for the Bills to draft…
  21. We arguably are worse at WR without Cooper and Hollins
  22. We resigned 3 defensive players to large contracts and signed Bosa. Palmer is a #2/3 WR…
  23. Offense will never be “the problem” with JA. The problem with our defense is they suck even though 90% of our 2017-2025 draft picks being on that side of the ball and having a HC that is supposedly a defensive SME.
  24. 3 CBs 2 DTs zero WRs…joke
