Or they think / thought QBs would go #1 and #2 and needed a backup plan. Or they don’t think Sanders and/or Dart are week 1 starters but do not want to pass up on a QB with a top 5 pick again like they’ve done several times. Relying on Russell Wilson to not get you fired is about a bone headed as it gets! Only reason they don’t take a QB with one of their top 2 picks is the owner gave them the green light to tank for Arch.

This does not move the needle for me at all. As much as we all love Tre, his best days are way behind him and he’s nothing more than a backup CB. I pray I’m wrong and he someone returns to his all pro days.
