The Kase for Kliff Kingsbury
LyndonvilleBill replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am actually coming around to this idea. Webb as HC and Kingsbury as OC. I think it could be interesting. My big question is, who is the DC? -
Is it more important though? Josh has had what? 4 different OC's? I think the O (Josh) has been pretty good under all of them (well, not so much Dorsey). Personally, I think we could basically run back the same O after adding a WR1 and the O would be fine IMO. I think scoring 30 points is more than enough. As to the D, I just don't think people thinks it's sexy. Everything is O and how many points can you score. Kind of like D is checkers and O is like chess.

Don't care who wins the SB as long as NE isn't in it.😉😁

Speculation: Bills v Raiders for Davis Webb?
LyndonvilleBill replied to SectionC3's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't really get into college ball, So I really can't answer on Medoza. I don't think there is such a thing as "can't miss". I'll leave that to others for their opinion. I think anyone would love to be a coach for Josh, however, I think there are coaches that may not want to be in the shadow of McD. Agree or not, McD was/is a VERY good coach. I like to fix and build things. See results from my work. As a manger for a worldwide company, I have done this several times by taking underperfoming locations and bringing them to be the envy of others. I prefer starting at the bottom (Raiders). The Bills don't need much. A tweak here and there. Or 1 play change. Kinda boring to me. You may get the trophy, but will it really be yours? I go back to Gruden and his SB win with the Bucs. A lot of people down here said it was Dungy's team and Gruden just reaped the results. As a new HC, do you want that to be your story? One chapter in a book or do you want to be the main character and be part of an entire series of books? Bills if you want instant gratification, Raiders if you want to write your own story.😉😇😁 -

I don't think it has much to do with confidence. We just fired the best head coach we have had since Levy and I am sure he was VERY confident. One of the reasons why I keep going back and forth with experience vs fresh. I guess I need to really pay attention to the Browns then (🤮) as I like Schwartz for our DC.😉😇😁 -

Can't they get around Schwartz by giving him the AHC title?🤔 I don't disagree about the challenge, but, I think it's different between a newbie vs and experienced HC. -

I think it comes down to expectations. If your a new HC, do you want to step into a High expectation team or low expectations. Easier to start at the low end and show improvement. Start at Buffalos level it Superbowl or bust. That's a lot of pressure to take on to start your HC career. -

I keep going round and round with experience vs fresh. I like the idea of fresh (Webb) if he can enlist an experienced DC w/HC experience to maybe be an assistant head coach. Maybe like Schwartz or Morris. If Brady doesn't get a HC gig, I might even retain him as OC. I wouldn't mind seeing another year and get a real#1 wr and see how/if his play calls adjust. Scoring hasn't been our issue. If we go with Experience, I like the idea of Schwartz. The D is where I think our issues. Again, leave Brady in place if possible or Webb if it can be worked out. Early morning thoughts. Could change in a few minutes though.☺️😁 -
He should be a lock. Just look at the logo name on his shirt!! 😉😁🤣

I think we will see a change this year. I think our entire focus for the last few years was how to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. Keep Mahomes in the pocket, find a way to stop Kelce and time of possession to keep Mahomes off the field. With us losing the division I think the focus goes back to winning the AFC/East again. More of an overall look at the playoff teams this year and not just one team.
