Yeah, call it a potential overreaction to today, but even before the game started, watching felt like a chore, not a boon. Football meant everything to me. It was quality time with my dad, who taught me all about it. One of my best memories of my dad was being together at the stadium for The Comeback. It was in my blood. But now it seems the wins feel good, but the losses feel so much worse. I'm watching the games on my own now, my kids aren't into football. My stress levels are through the roof on close games. Today was miserable. A loss, bad coaching, bad playing, abyssmal officiating (for the first time I am seriously wondering if the NFL is fixed/scripted). And it's not over. This loss is going to stay with me and haunt me. I'm wondering if it's worth it anymore. If the good feelings are worth the bad feelings and time commited. Yes, a Super Bowl win would be euphoric. But the odds are against that. Would anything else, even a season ending in a Super Bowl loss, be worth the time and torment invested? It's like buying an expensive emotional lottery ticket. I'm...kinda starting to think not, that this just isn't worth it. Anyone else feel the same, or at least understand?

Some people don't want to get dragged into the argument. Allen might have gotten the vax and doesn't want to reveal his status because he doesn't want to deal with either side lashing out at him. As noted on the Rodgers thread, Allen dealt with around two days of Twitter trending and then it all blew over. I'm just glad he'll be out there today. The AFC, top seed and the first round bye is ripe for the taking. To do that, we cannot lose to the Jags today.

With Dak...HIPPA don't work that way. That's part of the hubbub. HIPPA, for example, keeps Dak's doctor from revealing Dak's vax status. It does not prevent anyone from asking someone questions about their own health. I giggle a lil everytime someone incorrectly invokes HIPPA. "That word. I do not think it means what you think it means." As for the vax, there are crusaders on both sides. Josh may have trended a day or two, as you note, and has since been left alone. Hardly a pile-on. NFL stars trend a few day if they so much as fart sideways.

We all have opinions about the vax. That's not what matters. What it comes down to is this. Unvaxed players in the NFL can still play. Their employers (the NFL) allows this. What matters is Rodgers lied about his vax status to his employer. Show me any employer that's cool with being lied to by an employee. This isn't vax vs. unvaxed. This is an employee lying to their employer. Don't make this into more then it is.
