  1. Might have a chance against the Badgers. That would be what only a 3 point line? The continual utter incompetence at OBD, despite owner, GM and coaching changes never ceases to amaze me. I watch the Bills like the circus now. No emotions, just wonder and amazement. I hope for the best, but await the inevitable statistical disaster.
  2. "I thought it was a terrific interview, onto the next one" - Bill Belichick
  3. Hey Bleedingreen, I had Jets love in this game. Sat Rams DST for the Jets. Tyrodand maybe a rookie QB vs a 'strong' Jets Def against 0-19-1 Cleveland. Even the Jets couldn't blow this I thought to myself. Nope Jets are Jets. Thanks for nothing. See you at the bottom.
  4. I have no delusions as to this Bills team. It's a full on strip down and rebuild. But a Jets fan going to a Bills board to talk smack is like a DIA wrestler beating on a slow kid in high school after getting beat by a smaller DIII school. Very cool on you. Take it out on your wife and kids like usual.
  5. Calm your Jets, you just lost to Cleveland. C-L-E-V-E-L-A-N-D 0-19-1 Cleveland
  6. Don't forget Phoenix and Detroit. Detroit got blown out by the Jets that just lost to the Browns...
  7. He's not only an analytics guy, he has a lot of heart, from walk on to what he did. Heart and analytics = QB. hoping the best for Josh, but Mayfied was the play. Tipping a beer to Cleveland. You are off the hook Cleveland! Buffalo and Detroit up next.
  8. Tyrod and the Jets F$%#d me again. Started the Jets D against Tyrod and a potential Rookie QB and sat the Rams DEF vs the veteran Chargers and Rivers. At half time I looked great 20+ points. Multiple sacks, a blocked punt, a FF. Then Tyrod 'got hurt', and midnight turned into the pumpkin. They both screwed me again. Tyrod out Mayfield in. The Jets D allowed Baker to look like Joe Monatana. uggh... The Jets officially suck more than Cleveland now, and F Tyrod. LOL losers both of them.
  9. I don't want TT hurt, I liked him while he was here. But he walks into sacks on his own. Seeing a lot of bad OLine play this year. Seattle almost made Buffalo's O-line look passable last night. Putrid O-line play across the NFL.
  10. I think they have this year as the scrap down and do the best you can year. 2019 - get a talent influx through the draft and FA. Keep in mind a lot of top tier FAs may not want to come here. There are quite a few teams with a lot of cap room, some like the jets seem to be improving but couldn't get FAs to sign with them. Improve the record 2020 - better be competitive with more FAs and draft picks. 2020 is the year McBeane have till IMO, and it is the right thing to do. This year will be rough. I'm not a huge fan of the method, but a complete tear down was long past due, and we are reaching the bottom. No where to go but up!
  11. Tyrod had Wood at C, Incognito at G, Glenn at LT, Watkins, Woods, Goodwin, Hogan and a younger Shady. Not to mention Karlos and Gillislee. On defense Mario Williams, Dareus, younger Kyle, Brown (Zach), Brown (Preston), Bradham (Super Bowl), and a whole secondary of players on other NFL rosters. Live in reality much?
  12. Thank you for taking the heat. You made exactly the eloquent and focused post I could not. Big thumbs up to you CamboBill. This is not the situation you put the #7 overall pick at QB into. If you think QB play alone is to blame for last week, or even last year you may have a screw or two loose. And last year's situation was palatable to what we have now. Read Carr, David. It's the same thing all over again. By the time the Texans put a half decent OL and WR corps together he was near PTSD and damaged goods. Yet the Bills refuse to learn from NFL history, and may very well repeat it with Allen. As I stated before and will state again, the McNabb in Philly situation was the right way to bring along a raw rookie QB into a terrible offense. Terrible O-Line, terrible WR yet McNabb went 3-2 as a rookie starter. Josh Allen can not be judged as a franchise QB alone this year. HE HAS TO SURVIVE THIS SEASON. A QB can only do so much when the O-line is largely garbage and the WR's can't get separation or make tough catches. Peterman, who may have been an effective backup has already been ruined. So now throw out your #7 overall in the same situation? Now let's ruin the next new QB in a Bills uniform. This is all due to self inflicted dead cap space and bad roster decisions. LET ROOKIE CONTRACTS PLAY OUT WHEN YOUR TEAM SUCKS. This is madness, doing the same things over and over and over again, but expecting different results. I just hope Josh Allen's escapability allows him to absorb less damage than David Carr did. If you are too young to know about David Carr look him up. He took 50+ sacks for an expansion Texans for one or two years and was ruined. This is exactly why old heads like me said, "hey wait, sit the kid for a bit, the OL and WR try to improve even though they are garbage on this team". Maybe by week 10 some trends emerge and you can send out your best OL and WRs without getting your rookie QB killed.... But no, we need to ruin the shiny new toy as soon as possible. This is incompetence at it's worst. Deal away a ton of talent for a chance to draft a top 3-5 QB in a strong QB class then throw him to the wolves on a decimated team. Brilliant team building. If you want to see competent team building look at the Rams and Jets. $&%^%) it - better than I wanted to say. We are praying for hope a la Bruce Smith type player. Maybe you are too young to remember. B Smith #1 Overall pick in 1985. They didn't trade down, they took a difference maker who is the all time sack leader in the NFL, played in 5 AFC Championship Games, 4 Super Bowls, Bills Wall of Fame, and is also in the HOF. You sound like a newb.
  13. I was going to say this. RB is ok, TE has some youth in Croom (and Lee on the PS). Look at the the young QBs around the league and the WR, OL combos they have. Darnold had pretty good time and the Jet WRs are nothing to write home about, but they do have a nice mix of young guys and a few vets sprinkled in. Goff, Wentz and Mahomes have dream scenarios.Even Fitzmagic showed how good Winston has it.
  14. I hate dropping de Beer. I'm tipping one to him right now. Seemed to come in and work hard. Ike B is also gone right?
