  1. Marlowe - 158 passer rating against...limited action though. But last year completed 24-30 vs him (80%) double ouch.
  2. So is Hodgins done as a Bill?
  3. Dont love it but will take it. Addresses a need. Hoping he surprises me as I have never been impressed. Guessing its a rental for this season as he is due $6M and $7M the next two seasons. Unless they keep him and dump Singletary.
  4. Huh? I am not accusing him of anything. I was addressing the comment that they already made moves this offseason so why do they need to do anything.
  5. You can keep doing. Not just do and stop. The Bills could be fine doing nothing, but adding a key piece would still be huge. People would be going crazy if they had added CMC, Kamara, Barkely etc. Just because you are the best doesnt mean you cant get better.
  6. Called an excuse. If they make a trade those same people will say how Beane is a magician and got an amazing deal. You can do both, build through the draft and signed free agents or make trades. Actually have to do both in my opinion as we have seen with Miller. That is why an addition would be huge at the deadline.
  7. Why do people get so sensitive about the Bills needing to make a move? Doesnt mean you dont think they are a good team or even the best team. Nothing wrong with wanting to get better, especially when there are some decent flaws. And it usually the good teams, not bad teams adding players.
  8. Did TB luck out the year before when they basically did the same thing as the Rams?
  9. They have a pretty solid front 7. Going to get a lot of pressure on teams with Chubb, Ogbah, Phillips. Add in Wilkins, Davis, Ingram, Baker and with Howard and Holland in secondary. Solid D that got a lot better.
  10. Not an upgrade over Singletary. May as well go with Duke Johnson if you want a vet #2.
  11. Hock trade terms....I would have done this. T.J. Hockenson, a 2023 fourth-round pick and a conditional 2024 fourth-round pick for 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 third-round pick
  12. PTSD from Kelvin Benjamin maybe...
  13. Guess Lewis or Ingram
  14. I would have guess closer to 7-8. Another way to ask is what would the spread be at home vs the Jets? 16-20? Rarely do you see that kind of spread. What about vs a team like HOU, DET, CAR in Buffalo - 25?
  15. 6-1 - we dont need anyone crowd. If we lose in playoffs they will say its part of the plan, still building, etc. etc. We are 6-1, the super bowl favorite. We are fine not making a trade and have a great shot winning it all. But...if we can add depth or upgrade to address some of the weaknesses why not? People get offended at the notion. We could use help at S and OL for sure. WR depth would be nice to better complement Diggs/Davis. Even a 2nd TE could fill that void a bit. A upgrade to Singletary would be nice, but another RB is pointless if not an upgrade. CB depth is always helpful but White, Jackson, Johnson, Elam, Benford is pretty solid.
  16. Rams strategy - Traded for Miller and Signed OBJ. Both helped win a super bowl.
  17. We were only 14 point favorites at home vs Kenny Pickett...
  18. I'm just saying 13 points is huge on the road. The Jets beat GB a couple weeks ago in GB by 17 and put up 40 on a good MIA defense. Not worried that the Bills win this game or think the Jets are even close to us. But 13 points...
  19. Wow. Guess nobody is taking the Jets serious. The Bills are 13 point favorites on the road vs the 5-3, 2nd place Jets who are winners of 4 of last 5. Seems like a really high spread for a game like this. No way I am betting against the Bills though...
  20. I would be pissed as a GB fan. They played to not get blown out. Down big and just eating clock. They wanted to get out losing only by 10 instead of 20+. The Bills D played like a team with a big lead. A bit sloppy but the intensity dropped after being up big. They did look a bit slow in space even early as Jones had a lot of room to run. If the game was closer would the D have been different...hope so.
  21. We are the betting favorite. Our QB is the MVP favorite. We were a legit super bowl contender the past two seasons. No, expectations are not too high. Anything less than a super bowl is a disappointment. Agree with this. What frustrates me in games that should be blow outs is that its a lost opportunity to rest guys or avoid injuries. Poyer could have been out of the game already when he gut hurt. Would have to look back, but I recall some of the other injuries also being late in games when the guy could have been resting on the sideline.
  22. Cook Rookie Game Log Motor Rookie Game Log Moss Rookie Game Log Knox Rookie Game Log Davis Rookie Game Log Shakir Rookie Game Log There is no way you compare these rookies and can say McD does not play rookies and brings them along slowly. Cook has far less playing times than any of the others. Skakir is the only one even close and he is deeper on the depth chart and was borderline to even make the roster vs being a guy expected to contribute by many people.
