The original statement was that McD does not play rookies. There was never a question of them dominating. And your wrong anyway - Davis for example got 50% of the snaps from the get go. He played 100% in week 5 of his rookie year and was always at or above 50%. Same goes for Knox he was at 50%+ from day one. Singletary and Moss were playing from day one. Shakir is the one with the least PT and he is even getting around 25% of snaps.
Cook has had 25+ only twice. The guys above mostly were above 25% or even 50% every game as rookies. This is about Cook not McD not wanting to play rookies. Many rookies got a ton of snaps for him. Leaving the guys out I already mentioned...we started two rookies at CB much of this season, Brown and Ford as rookies played.
Dude, keep it real. - devin was a decent part of the offense from the get go. He got hurt week two and that is why he was inactive. He came back and was again a big part of the o. He had 150 rushes and 30 rec as a rookie. Moss came the next year and essentially split carries as a rookie. Moss also got hurt in week 2 and missed 3 games, so the 17 rushes were in two weeks not 5. Cook has had the least action by far of the 3. Rookies are not limited by McD. More the opposite.
Come on. I’m doing the research for you. Singletary and moss were day one starters. So have many other rookies. Epenesa is the only other rookie like cook that has not been involved early. McD plays his draft picks.
All about the playoffs. A vet that has been there before and even if he is only playing 10-20 snaps. Having Diggs, Davis, and OBJ is an upgrade over McK, Tupac and Kumerow. Crowder was that extra vet but he is gone.
Trades we don’t make or players we don’t sign = genius

The rule of your always right.
CMC would have been a decent addition. It adds a guy that a D is scared of. No one is scared of any of our RB. Could have opened things up a bit for us. Oh well. We are still the best team. I do hope we bring in a safety, OL help or another wr/te.
I am not as impressed as I expect the Bills to beat the Chiefs. We are the better team now.
I think the Bills played a B level game and still won. Both units played good enough to win. Shows how good this team is.
We still struggled to stop KC and as others have said the offense helps the D by keeping the ball out of KC hands a lot. If this was one of those games that the O does not show up I think KC scores 30+. KC had their way on 3 of the 5 drives in the first half (luckily only scored 10 and not 17). The second half it was essentially the same 3 of 5 and only scored 10 due to the missed FG.
Higher expectations. We are not lucky to beat the chiefs anymore. They are lucky to be in games with us.
