  1. Is the picture messed up for anyone else? Watching on YouTubetv in Buffalo.
  2. Rip, I'm glad he gets to be with his family
  3. Jets schedule is a joke. Pretty big advantage getting to play Steelers, Vikings and Broncos vs us playing Ravens, Lions and Chiefs. I still think Bills will win the division, but if I had to pick an alternative I would definitely take the Jets over Miami.
  4. I don't understand the trade. Were there character/work ethic concerns with Dotson? Why would they even be looking to trade him? Recent first round pick who has been somewhat productive. It's not like they are deep at WR.
  5. Well, McDermott is already pretty aggressive on 4th down. I'm guessing we'll be going for it even more now from the opp 25-45, which I don't necessarily think is a bad thing. But an unreliable kicker with a bad contract is a pretty brutal problem to have. Bass' strength is his big leg, and we can't even use it. Hopefully he shakes it off once the games start and gets his confidence back.
  6. I'm not too negative, I still like our chances this year. But I'll admit, I'm not too confident in our coaching staff. And while I'm a huge Beane fan, he has some general philosophies I strongly disagree with, and he seems very stubborn and unwilling to make adjustments now that he is building a team around a generational QB. I don't think McDermott's seat is even lukewarm at the moment, likely multiple seasons of missed playoffs away from getting canned. And the thought of going the majority of Allen's prime with him as HC is a bit depressing as a fan.
  7. A lot, but I don't think the thought will even cross Beane's mind.
  8. Do you feel better now? By depth I meant WR 4/5/6. MVS/Hollins/Claypool was a very strong group. Right now we are looking at Hollins as WR2 and Shavers/Hamler/ Isabella making the team as our depth, which yea is abysmal.
  9. For MVS hopefully he means out a few weeks from now, and not a few weeks of the season. I don't see any clarification on this.
  10. Yea, he's already been out a week or so and we still have three weeks until the season, so hopefully he will be good to go.
  11. This is a pretty brutal update with so many guys being week to week this close to the season. Samuel with turf toe, isn't that something that can linger? And MVS out multiple weeks. Our depth at WR suddenly isn't looking that strong. And it looks like there is the potential for Lewis to be the starting S week 1.
  12. Both are true. He could have caught it, and it was an awful throw. Sure you can make the "drop" look worse by cropping out the other defender. That ball needs to be low and in.
  13. Would be great if one of these young OTs can take over for Brown next year and let us spend money elsewhere.
  14. Seems like the depth took a huge hit tonight. Hopefully none of the injuries are too serious.
  15. Is Austin Johnson the primary backup to DJ? Hopefully it's nothing serious.
  16. Awesome, no Allen. Hopefully defensive starters are done too.
  17. Watching Araiza boom it 62 yards does make me sad though. That's gonna sting every time.
  18. Vs a vanilla backup defense? At what point do NFL fans learn to not take anything away from preseason games? The behind the back pass was cool I'll admit.
  19. If Caleb went to a bad team where he'd struggle to develop, I could see him being a bust. But on this team, with as talented as he is, it's hard to imagine him failing. He's in a great spot, the Chi offense is stacked.
  20. Was thinking the same thing. Blitzing DBs all game like it's the Superbowl.
  21. This Woodside on the Bengals has the worst pocket awareness I've ever seen
  22. Yes, they'll win the AFCE. 5-1 in the division. Beat Az Ind and Tn. 4-4 in the rest. 11/12 wins.
  23. Positive spin.... He'll be back for the playoffs when it matters (if we make it). The knee has more time to heal. By not playing, it eliminates the chance of an in season injury later on that would knock him out for the season, leaving him healthy for playoffs. Williams gets valuable playing time and could potentially emerge as strong starter like TB. And it's possible he wouldn't have been the same player anyways, coming off the knee, making the injury less significant than it appears. Brutal injury, but it could be worse. At least it's likely we see him again this year. On it's own it shouldn't have a significant impact on our SB chances. But if this is the start of another string of injuries we are in trouble.
  24. I'm not a cap expert but looking at his contract it looks like we can't realistically move on prior to his contract expiring in 2027, is that correct? I love Milano, one of my favorite Bills of the last decade. This stinks.
  25. This seems completely meaningless and something that has nothing to do with why we haven't won a Superbowl?
