I'll admit I don't know much about him. But there is literally no where to go but up for us at LG. Saffold was one of the worst starting guards I've ever seen last year.

First two picks were absolute home runs. Rest of the draft was basically a throw away. I think there is a very good chance only 3 draft picks make the team this year. And that 2 ever have a real impact in the NFL. I'm not a big fan of McBeane the drafter. Way too much emphasis on special teams and process guys with premium draft picks. But absolutely love what he did with the first two picks this year.

This changes nothing

So how did Torrence look? Unable to watch the game but was real excited to see him get the start.

Sheffield was an amazing addition. Significant upgrade over Kumerow.

Is it too early to start planning the parade?

Our HC is a defensive guy, and also our DC. He's known and proven to value the defense over offense and to pour a **** ton of resources into that side of the ball. If the MLB spot was that important in his defense we would have brought in a new MLB. We will be fine without Edmunds. We are stacked everywhere else on D. It would have been disappointing to see them go for a high end replacement.

It's a risk we have to take. No way he should be extended right now.

Even if Beane wanted to give Spencer another shot, when you have a guy who both 1- has been absolutely terrible for two years and 2- has a history with back issues, you should probably at least have a good back up plan in place. Don't love the idea of Q starting. Wish they added somebody, even if planned on having Spencer start the season.

I'm real excited about Torrence

We knew this right away. Beane said immediately after the draft pick in his press conference that he was a special teams player. Brutal.

Why would you even buy it? Why put yourself in this position? If you just never tried it, you would never know that you liked it.

His acting is improving. The Gillette commercials were rough.

So Spector, Elam and Torrence getting first team reps today. Sweet.

Ian saying likely a full tear and out until December. And this doesn't sound like a guy that will be back anytime soon.

But if he has five turnovers in week one, can we still use whatever it is as an excuse like we did with the appendix?

Where is Kincaid getting drafted in fantasy? I'm assuming late or undrafted. Could be a league winner if he ends up basically playing WR and having a big role.

Sounds like Dorsey is getting creative and introducing a lot of new concepts and formations. Encouraging. Hopefully it translates to game days.

Even the best team in the league, which the jets are not and will not be, has what a 15% chance of winning the Superbowl? That's an absurd amount of money to voluntarily hand back over two seasons.

Love hearing about Kincaid /new formations being used Dodson as starter for now, fine. Will be very disappointing if that's the case Week 1. 3rd round picks on LBs last two years. Can't be burning picks on guys just to play ST.
