This is a great signing. I wish they didn't give an average DT $17M a year to clear space for it. Surely there were other ways. Agree, the D is loaded
-
then trade him for a bag of peanuts
-
17M a year for Ed freaking Oliver . That's gonna take a while to sink in.
-
Considering we are paying one TE $13M a year, and just spent a first round pick on another, we better have better than the 11th best TE group.

Phew. I was ready to take down all the Hailee Steinfeld posters from my wall.

Why did Isaiah McKenzie fail as starting Slot WR?
Process replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
No I didn't expect that. But I'm not the one that said he's "clearly" capable of being great lol. In six years He's never come close to showing that. Forget great the guy is a fringe NFL player. That's why he just signed a 1 year deal at the NFL minimum. -

Clearly capable of being great? He's had over 300 yards once in 6 seasons. He's just not a good football player, by NFL standards. No need to overcomplicate it. Had no business being a starting slot WR. That's on Beane, not him. -
Would make less than zero sense.
-
Imagine caring about this. Like even a little bit. LOL.
-
Nice signing. I was getting concerned with Beane's lack of a backup plan in case Brown sucks again.
-
Ok you clearly don't get it lol
-
Not gonna pick one specific move, but by far Beane's biggest weakness has been the d line. Pretty much hate everything he has done since he's been here. Way too many draft picks/money/resources spent on average/bad players, that could have been much better spent elsewhere.
-
The Bils traded pick 27 for Diggs. A total steal. They did not trade Justin Jefferson for Diggs. Beane has had a lot of blunders, but this was definitely not one of them. Actually, it may have been his best move.

Josh has a much better sense of style then she does. That outfit, yuck.

OMG We can get one of the best WRs in the league without having to trade anything A guy that is publicly begging to come to Buffalo Beane has to find a way to make this work -
Ross Tucker ranks NFL Coach’s, places McDermott at #22.
Process replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not a huge McDermott guy but 22 is ridiculous. You got the offensive gurus like Reid Shanahan Mcvay Pederson Daboll Payton. Belichick Harbaugh Tomlin. Vrabel who can turn crap into gold. He's somewhere in the 10-15 range. Certainly not elite as a head coach, and his stubbornness and "process" can be annoying as hell. And if we stumble in the playoffs this year than we really need to start questioning if we will ever get over the hump with him. But you can definitely do a lot worse at HC. I'm excited to see him as a DC this year. -
It's going to suck watching him boom kicks against us twice a year. But good for him, he deserves to be in the NFL.
-
Williams definitely looks the part physically.
-
It was a joke man lol. Just poking fun on his predictions of obj coming, d hop coming, him being ready for the jets etc. Relax.
-
Based on vons history with predictions I guess this means its guaranteed we don't see him until Christmas

The dumbest rule in the NFL: New rule change
Process replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
It further eliminates returns. Right now teams will frequently kick it to the 5 yard line on purpose hoping to stop the returner, who is forced to return it, before the 25 yard line. Now the returner can just fair catch it and ball goes to the 25, no return. -
Well this is good to hear. The pick makes more sense if they drafted him to play MLB and if he at least has a shot at the job. The reason it looked so bad was because of Beane's comments right after the draft, basically implying they spent another third round pick on a special teams player.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Process replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
What a tease this whole thing is. Ugh.
