True it’s a projection. But I think you are dealing with rookie growing pains with both of those guys for likely two years. And I think Bergeron is a guard. Outside of Wright or the other elite tackles in this draft, I don’t think there is a RT who can step in and unseat Brown right now. I think the more prudent strategy is to coach up a healthy Brown and draft another developmental RT later in the draft to possibly unseat him next year if he doesn’t come through. I disagree with using our first pick to bring in guys who are not upgrades right now. JMO. I don’t see anything in Harrison’s game to feel that he can step in right now. He is SOFT. Brown will give you a fight.

I get that. But Anton Harrison/Bergeron are not better than Spencer Brown. It’s not an upgrade. What’s the point? It has more to do with the hate for Spencer Brown than anything about Harrison:

To me it’s Hyatt Campbell or Simpson Bresee or Mazi Smith Will McDonald if you want OL take Avila. He’s the best one up there. Or Tippmann.

With pick 33 in draft 3.0, The Houston Texans select Myles Murphy, DE, Clemson. Ridiculous value here imo. He is a top 15 player in the draft. I know we went edge in the first, but this is too good to pass up. Murphy is a monster and has natural size and burst, as well as length. Getting Anderson, Robinson and Murphy, 3 of the top players in the draft…I feel pretty good. Now I just need to use some picks to get Trey Lance. @Virgil

Just to add, I have been saying that I believe that Jack Campbell has been on a number of visits but they have not been reported and there is a reason why. He is only true MLB in this draft. Now does that mean the Bills are trying to keep it quiet? Who knows. But he is clearly saying he is keeping it quiet and I think it's clear that those teams have directed him to do so. Does that mean it's the Bills? I can't fathom why he wouldn't be someone they wanted. Who knows if they are one of those teams, but it is interesting.

Dan Campbell is just lying here to sound rugged and old school. It is a combination of both what they have done on film and athletic upside and measurables. It's a projection and that's why Tommie Frazier was such a dominant college player who could not sniff the league. Also I think it is highly unlikely he is available this late.

I also gained a ton of valuable information on what kind of specific position work he was doing. I basically wanted to learn about everything he did that allowed him to go out there and dominate on Sundays. He played the game at the highest level imaginable. Like you said, he’s one of the best middle linebackers of all time. Anything I could learn from him, I was just trying to be a sponge. He taught me about NFL defenses and how those systems are set up. It’s going to be a little bit different from the scheme I played in at Iowa. We dropped and played coverage a little differently than the NFL does. It was such an amazing experience. I broke down so many different things with him. I definitely think they have similarities in play style and what they were asked to do at Iowa. The difference is the athletic qualities and projection at the next level. It's not even close there. .

My opinion on MLB is essentially this... Either they are truly comfortable with the incumbents present and maybe draft late round competition, or the they are hiding their interest in Jack Campbell and taking him at 27. I think those are the two possible outcomes. If he is their guy, they aren't going to wait to see if he falls to round 2 or whatever.
