  1. I think Williams is going to be a Kelvin Beachum-Eric Fisher type of tackle. Which to me, you don't draft in the top ten.He would probably be okay. I think he projects to be a good guard, not as good as Zach Martin, but maybe have a TJ Lang type of career. Again, you don't make that pick at 9. I think he would be an all pro center, top 10 type. His intelligence, footwork and agility project amazing there. But again, it's hard to justify in the top ten. I think it really depends what else is on the board. I think he could be the best center in the league eventually. Dillard, all I see is Jonathan Martin. A finesse player who is really soft and does not like to mix it up. I just don't see a heartbeat there. I don't see any edge in his play at all. I would hate the pick. I think he's a second rounder at best. With all off the power players we have added in Spain, Long, Feliciano, Nsekhe, Waddle...I really hope we are not interested in this guy. Taylor I could live with because I think he has the chance to be the best right tackle in the league who could possibly play left tackle.
  2. I think maybe Sean Bunting. I think he's very much a McDermott type corner And I think a lot of people here would like Chase Winovich.
  3. Oliver is the guy. It's so perfect that it's crazy. Outside of Oliver I am intrigued by TJ Hockenson. Obviously I love Bosa, Williams, Allen but those seem unrealistic.I would be disappointed with most other outcomes. I'd be okay with Christian Wilkins and I think he will go higher than a lot of people think. I could sell myself on Jonah Williams or Jawaan Taylor. I love Dalton Risner and think he'd be perfect in a trade down.
  4. I do think there is a small possibility, and I am totally just in my own head, that we could move Jerry Hughes to the Giants. Though he wasn't great in Indy, Hughes showed great improvement under James Bettcher, then Bettcher was moved to Arizona with Bruce Arians and Hughes was traded. So I could see a trade of Hughes to the Giants to possibly move up somewhere...maybe in the second. At the risk of going blind, I'd do a swap of 1's with Houston, and a 2020 2nd for Clowney. Then I'd trade Hughes to the Giants for something. Maybe a swap of 1s to get to seventeen, or maybe a 2020 third rounder to recoup a bit of what I lost in the Clowney trade. Or their second rounder for our third this year. I dunno.
  5. I think it makes sense to stick with Eli a bit more. If they suck again, you can take some of the better quarterbacks next year. If not, now there seems to be guys like Nick Foles, Derek Carr etc who hit the market. Just a few years ago guys like that were never available. But as teams cycle through coaches, people always want their own guy.
  6. Yeah I think they go defense. Allen, Williams, Oliver...whoever is left of those top guys.
  7. I've come around on Williams, honestly I think because I have a strong dislike for Dillard and I am hoping and praying we don't draft him. But anyway, if I draft Williams I'm probably sticking him at right guard and leaving Dawkins where he is. It is possible that Bobby Johnson doesn't like Dawkins, but that does not seem very likely. In theory though, if you draft Williams, perhaps you can get some value by trading Dion to the Panthers, who we jumped in front of to draft Dawkins, or even perhaps to the Giants. But if I'm going to draft an offensive linemen, I'd rather they just draft Hockenson and try something different.
  8. As long as he doesn't draft Dillard. That's where I am at. But I think the most likely outcome is some sort of trade down and Byron Murphy, or a guy like Cody Ford/Dalton Risner.
  9. If he isn't going to be cleared by August, it's not worth it to sign him imo. There are no guarantees he will actually be ready to play. Especially if he wants a ton of money.
  10. I honestly love a lot of the options we have, in a trade down or whatever. As long as we don't draft Dillard. I will be massively dissapointed if that happens. He's not better than Dion Dawkins.
  11. I knew who Robert Thomas was. Is that bad?
  12. How do u do that? I was trying to figure it out in round 1. I feel old
  13. I think no trades makes a ton of sense and should go quicker
  14. I love the idea of people trading up for quarterbacks in front of us. Just pushes talent down
  15. If I'm the Chargers I go Okung-Feeney-Bradbury-Pouncey-Lamp. I'd make Bradbury my center and move Pouncey to guard where he would be very good. I'd try Lamp at RT as he was a former LT who would probably be fine on the right side. Pouncey is only around for 1 more year.
  16. I think Murray to the Cards I like the Haskins to the Skins fit. I think Jones winds up with the Giants Lock I think is a Charger Bengals draft someone like Ryan Finley Broncos wait till next year Dolphins draft Will Grier Packers trade for Rosen
  17. I think that is definitely a better deal. I just don't think he is better than Trent Murphy, and he is older. I'd go 1 year 5 million.
  18. This trade makes a ton of sense to me. 1st round swaps, next year's 2nd and a 4th would equal what the Chiefs sent to Seattle for Clark. Front offices are close as well. This is a no brainer for me. They aren't going to be able to keep him long term. I'd rather trade draft assets and sign Clowney for 20 million per than sign Ansah for 14 million. The guy is very overrated, older (no one knows his actual age), and always hurt. Clowney is very young, has huge upside, has been productive, and will excel in this defense.
  19. Love Risner, Oliver, Ferguson and my draft crush Blake Cashman. Sorry...I know you said one
  20. Jaylon Ferguson Blake Cashman
  21. Blake Cashman - LB (He's a bigger Matt Milano imo who can play inside or outside in a 4-3) Max Scharping - OT (He has 4th round tackle David Bakhtiari written all over him. Great size and good length with a nasty streak) Jaylon Ferguson - DE (Probably a second rounder, I think he might wind up the best edge player in the draft down the line) David Sills - (Smart player, former quarterback, good size and speed...Patriots esque receiver)
  22. Parents today are so damn twisted. I see this kind of thing every day when trying to find out why a kid did not do his homework. This guy is nuts and so are a lot of other parents right now.
  23. I never liked small quarterbacks. I think he needs to have special mobility within the pocket to find passing windows to be effective. This is something that both Drew Brees and Russell Wilson excel at. I don't see it with Murray. I don't see it with Mayfield either, who I'm not completely sold on. Anyway, Murray seems like a huge weirdo and not a leader of men. Plus he is small and played in a gimmicky offense against some crap defenses. I do think he will click with Christian Kirk, but I don't see long term success. And I think he is going to get killed out there. That way that Tyrod would get hurt on routine hits that every other quarterback takes with no issue...that's what I see for Murray. That said, I think he is a good match for Kingsbury, but I don't think he's a better prospect than Josh Rosen. I think Haskins and Lock have better careers than Murray.
  24. I actually love McSorely. Honestly, I'd spend a seventh on him and try to make him a safety. He's smart and played a lot of DB in high school. It would be a project, but the dude is a football guy. If you look at his combine testing numbers, they are all on par with Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer, size, 40, length etc etc. I'd love to have him on our team and I think a safety conversion makes a lot of sense.
