Just plugging things into the NY Times Playoff simulator. Right now the Bills have a 1% chance of winning the Conference. That grows to 7% if the Bills beat the Steelers and the Fins beat the Chiefs. The Bills then have an 18% of winning the Conference if they beat the Broncos and the Saints beat the Chiefs. But that grows to 100% if the Steelers lose one more to either the Browns or the Colts, and the Bills, Steelers and Chiefs finish in a 13-3 tie.

I thought that too, but just looked. The first tie breaker in a 3 way tie is head to head win percentage. KC didn't play Pitts, so there'd be no way to pass KC in a tie breaker.

I know a lot of people will blow their gasket at the suggestion, but the Bills should draft Travis Etienne in the 1st next year. He can take it to the house on any play, and catch 50+ balls a year out of the backfield. So what if the Bills spent two 3rd round picks on RBs. You don't pass on a guy that can be better than Alvin Kamara. No one late in the 1st will have the impact he will have.

AWS is doing a ton of really intense player movement metrics using body sensors. I don't know if they've released the full picture of what they're capturing yet. It seems possible to place pressure sensors helmets, shoulder pads ect... Something tells me though that that's the exact type of metric the NFL wouldn't be too keen on promoting in the aftermath of the concussion scandal.
