Economists are terrible historians, they tend to use a priori assumptions about how the world used to work. The anthropologists that have explored the way money has actually worked will tell you that credit based monetary systems are old as dirt. And that in many states debt is uncollectible after 7 years, and that bankruptcy exists historically as a solution to the problem if there being more debt than actual money.

On the basis that the lender didn't actually have 90% of the money they lent, they created it by lending it, and as a result there is 90% more debt owed in our current economy than there is actual currency.

Having Hayden and Spillane out is really going to help our wr's get open. The defenses that have been most effective holding Josh to under 20 points have done it by getting home quickly with the pass rush while clogging his escape lanes AND holding tight coverage so there's no one to throw to. Pitt can do that with their pass rush, but can they keep blanket coverage? Josh had been really good against the blitz this year bc most of those teams can't cover effectively when they send it. This is going to be a good test, not stupid fan test of franchisness, but a test of Josh and Daboll's ability to beat elite defenses.

As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't have anything to do with proving anything. It's about elevating his play against really good defenses and winning tight games against the best teams.

I think the no crowd situation is really great for Allen this year. So it's less about home files advantage as it is about getting a week off and having to onky win 2 games to get to the Super Bowl. If they play Fitz I'm rooting for him to have a magic game against Mahomes. I just don't think the Fins are going to win two more games than us over the last 4.
