The democrats are really stupid, they didn't have to prove that violence was directly incited. That only had to prove that an unlawful act was directly incited. The goal of Trump's rally and speech was to convince the VP and Congress overturn the lawful certification of the election. If that is not a crime, then it wouldn't be a crime for Kamala Harris to change the election results in 4 years in the event that the states certify the election for the Republican candidate. But it would be a crime if Harris did that, just as it would be a crime if Pence did. And Trump sending that mob to Congress with the expressed purpose of convincing Pence to commit a crime is a crime in and of itself. A horrific precident has been set.

Good questions, I didn't watch enough Saints games to know the answers. There DT's seem solid, but are they elite? What I did see in the games I watched was a guy in his 4th year who got his first chance to start at RDE, and he completely dominated. He's significantly stouter than any DE we currently have, and his speed and bull rush look elite. At 6' 4" 270lbs he ran a 4.65 40 at the combine. I' can't argue with sending a 1st for an elite DE. Hendrickson is 26, so we'd be looking at a 3 or 4 year contact right in his prime.

It seems like you're saying that when someone yells "Fire" in a crowded theater (when there is no fire) they didn't incite the ensuing riot because nowhere did they say "trample your fellow patrons on your way out." Trump invited these people to DC to intimidate the VP and Senators into doing something that has never been done, to overturn the results of the election during its certification. He told them that if they fought like hell they would overturn the results of the election, and if they failed they wouldn't have a country any more. If you can turn a mob loose on the Capitol to overturn the election through intimidation and not be responsible for the results, then you can yell "Fire" in a crowded theater and not be responsible for the people trampled to death.

So the there was a ton of violent chatter for an event that Trump organized and directed, and that means he can't have incited it. Got it. Can you point us to statutes that define incitement? Or are you making it up as you go along?
