I think that decision had more to do with sending a message to Tyrod. We're getting blown out all game and you're checking the ball down to Tolbert for a 3 yard gain... You need to throw the ball or take a seat.

I was so proud to finally have a prime time game and we were playing really well.. We blew it in spectacular fashion at the end and I went to bed with tears in my eyes. I too enjoy words. I also enjoy laughing at the Jets... Don't get me wrong, I think Darnold is a great QB prospect. But giving away what they did to move up three spots, weeks away from the draft was crazy. Reminds me of a similar move made by Doug to get (not Mack, who I thought for sure we were going after) Sammy... Probably would have gotten both of our firsts and a second.
